22 Krishna  “Captain?” William and Eugene said. I had grabbed Vinnie because I knew something that the other two didn’t. Vinnie and Persephone had gone to the Doctor together to get more meds for Vinnie. Meaning that this Vinnie that was here and had come here was a fake. Sure enough when I grabbed the thing just like with the faux-livia, the fake Vinnie started squirming and snapping. “The real Vinnie is with his girlfriend,” I said as the weird creature started to hiss like the Faux-livia had before. Just like before I grabbed the fake Vinnie and snapped its neck. The fake Vinnie dropped. “Getting meds, I talked to her just 10 minutes ago max.” “Woah,” William and Eugene said and I turned to them. They both raised their hands. “We are the real ones I swear,” Eugene said. “How do I know that for sure?” I asked. “My mom...has four breasts and butterfly wings,” Eugene said. “That doesn’t prove anything,” I said. “I…I was born in an egg sack,” Eugene said. I c****d my head and then turned towards William. William held his hands up. I honestly didn’t know if that was true or not but something about the way Eugene said it that made me believe him.” “I am also the real one Captain,” William said holding his hands up. “Prove it,” I said. “We met in the recruit office,” William said. “I noticed that Vinnie had a huge b***r and was trying to hide it while he was sitting down.” I looked at him and put both my Karambits in my sleeves across my chest. “You knew we were telling the truth?” Eugene said. “When I threatened Faux-livia and the fake Vinnie they started snapping at me.” I said. “You two didn’t do that. Besides no one would have copied two low-ratings like you no offense.” I tapped on a button on my desk and revealed a wall of armaments that were hiding behind a bookshelf. I tossed a couple at Eugene and William before grabbing a few extra knives. Then I noticed a black trench coat that I grabbed and slipped on. I looked at the inside of the coat and saw all sorts of pockets and sleeves and I put a bunch of knives in there. “You’re not seriously going to just use knives, are you?” Eugene asked. “Your right,” I looked back into the armory and grabbed a blitz gun. I had heard of something called a shot gun that this was based on. Well this thing was called a shot gun on steroids. I checked the charge of it and put it on my back. “Okay let’s go find Olivia, this place could be crawling with these things.” I said. I had no idea what in the f**k these things were. They turned into mush after killing them. That was pretty much all I knew about these things. Could they be some sort of creature that was created from the M parasite? Could it be that it was a person before and it was changed into some sort of mush creature? I had no idea. I looked out of my office and looked around. There was no one wandering around so I motioned to the boys to head out. They moved in front of me and scouted ahead with their guns down in an angle. They reached the corner stopped. William went ahead and looked down the hallway drawing his gun and made it to the other corner. “Clear,” William said. We had not even started basic combat and these boys knew how to clear an area. This was good because I was going to have to use them. I walked over towards them and looked at them before I walked down the hallway. In reality, I was more worried about them then I was of myself. I walked down the hallway and threw a knife at some weird blob creature that came out of the wall. The creature fell to the floor and turned into mush. I looked at the thing for a second before I grabbed another knife and threw it at another blob thing that came out of the ceiling. I looked around and turned back and motioned the boys to follow. “Let me lead,” I said. The boys had their mouth agape and nodded. We walked down the hallway and I looked around. I didn’t sense anymore of the weird blob things. I had no f*****g clue what the hell they were.  Nor did I know what the f**k color they were originally because they just became this yellow-orange goo that looked like a baby would vomit up when they died. “Captain what the f**k are those things?” William said. “f**k if I know,” I said. In reality I remember hearing about these things called Inklors, they were these blob creatures from another part of the galaxy. But what the f**k were they doing here? An invasion? I opened the door for the building I was in and looked up. There were no ships…well none that were visible, at least. I remember they terrorized part of the galaxy over by Hydra. I think that rumor said that they were from this star that was called Crataris. I was fairly knowledgeable in Astronomy, so I do remember that Crataris was somewhere down the body of the Hydra from what I remember. I also remember that we had never encountered them, the only reasons we knew about these things was because the Fakirs had apparently encountered their technology. From I remembered, the Fakirs claimed that they were going extinct. Apparently because the Inklors had logged their history and what had happened to them. From what I remember, the Fakirs had translated that the Inklors had encountered these things that were some sort of giant insects. I didn’t remember what all had happened I do remember that somehow they were to the point where they were mostly extinct, and in fact the Fakirs thought they were extinct as the part they had translated this time period was over 400,000 years from what they had figured. I thought about that for a moment. Could that be related to that Era 485,000? I dismissed the idea because I did not have time to dwell on it and I continued going down the base. “Could there be more of those things?” William asked. “f**k if I know,” I said. “We have to assume so.” I walked towards Olivia’s office looking around making sure that there were no more of those blob things anywhere. It was a few hundred feet away and we did not run into any more of the blob things I made it to the building that her office was in. I barged the door in and looked around. The place was eerily empty. The lights were on but there was seemingly no one home. I motioned the boys to follow me inside and they did and pointed their guns around looking around the room. “Where the hell is everyone?” Eugene asked as he put his gun up. “We have to assume the base is compromised.” I said. “Compromised?” William said. “No time,” I said. I had to figure out where Olivia was. If she was attacked by that blob thing, she could be severely injured. Then there was the Colonel and Heather I was worried about. If the base was compromised with these blob things running around, then I had to assume that there could be a lot of casualties. My mind had gone to that idea from the book about people dying around during a war. But this did not seem like a war. It seemed more concentrated. It seemed like it was just localized to here. I was wondering if Lorillard or Hunraken were somehow behind this. I could see that. I continued through the building. I cleared several hallways before I reached an office that had Olivia’s name on it. “Olivia!” I said knocking on the door. “Marxus?” Olivia called back after a while. “You okay?” I asked. “Pretty sure the piece of s**t dislocated my shoulder but otherwise I am ok,” Olivia said. I heard the door open. Olivia held a gun to my head. Well as usual this thing started beeping so obviously I survived this since I am recording it but check out the next entry.
