Entry 19

22 Krishna So, this Doctor, Norman Hunraken, was now all over the place when it comes to pretty much everything. I had a thought of that moment, that I had not looked him up to see what his deal was. “Why the hell is he all over the place?” I asked. I quickly typed his name on the computer. And found his profile and his picture. I c****d my head because his hair…it looked green. It was the weirdest s**t ever. Why the f**k did he have green hair? Fakirs had black hair, not green. Maybe he didn’t shower? I looked at the profile: Doctor Norman Hunraken foremost authority of genetic engineering and artificial intelligence. Doctor Norman Hunraken is most notably known for two reasons listed below. Complete understanding and cataloguing of the race known to the Fakirs as the Inklors. Dr. Hunraken, spent 3 years translating the texts from codes found aboard the drifting Inklor ship that was found. Dr. Hunraken’s study of the Inklors is the foremost information about the Inklors, and he is considered the only authorized member of the Fakir Empire to write anything about the Inklors. “That’s convenient,” I said. “What?” Olivia asked. “Hunraken is the only one authorized to write anything about the Inklors,” I said. “So, the fucker could be making s**t up and we wouldn’t know,” Eugene said. “Or worst suppressing information that should be known but the fucker is keeping it under wraps.” I said. I had the idea that Hunraken was hiding s**t. He further used the information obtained from the Inklors, that were apparently master geneticists in their own rights to create the Super Soldier program that is now known as Project Rho. I read that over a couple of times to make sure I wasn’t reading it wrong. I wasn’t. “The fucker is using something he learned from the Inklors for this Super Soldier Program.” I said. I was cursing the f*****g monkey. He must have known about this, this whole time that is why he told me at the beginning that I didn’t even know what they were doing on Rho. The more I was reading about this s**t the more I was thinking, I truly didn’t know what the s**t they were doing on Rho. Right now, I can only assume that they had used Sigma to test out using the Inklor technology on people, then they further their research by making this Super Soldier Program on Rho. “That’s convenient,” Olivia said. “You can say that again.” I said sighing. “By the way Marxus, one thing I realized is if this place is compromised one of us might have to garrison being the Acting Colonel.” Olivia said. I turned to look at her. That was an idea I had not thought of. If these weird Inklor things or whatever the f**k they were, compromised this base then it could make one of us the acting Colonel. “You have seniority as far as time served.” I suggested. “But you’re higher skilled than I am,” Olivia said. I paused and thought about that for a moment. “Let’s figure that out if the Colonel is not okay,” I said. “Good idea,” Olivia nodded. There was a very odd pause between us. “Oh oh,” the f*****g monkey said. I looked around trying to figure out where the f**k he was. I didn’t see him. I didn’t even hear him. But I was damn sure the mother fucker was there. I knew that the fucker was getting a kick out of it.  “I don’t get something though if Hunraken used technology of the Inklors to create the super soldiers and possibly the M parasite why then are these things suddenly running around?” William asked suddenly. “Well the mother fucker said that the Inklors used a host and then they would come out as a larva. Maybe these things are the larvae that he was talking about.” Eugene suggested. “He has a point,” Olivia said “But the fucker could also be making s**t up, maybe it doesn’t come out until its an adult.” I suggested. Then I remembered what the boys had brought to me earlier. Cassey and the other kids who were victims and had died. Could it be that they been fully absorbed the by Inklors? It was a wild idea but, it kind of made sense to me at the time I was thinking about it. “If that’s the case we could have a bigger problem.” Olivia said. “Hunraken could have programmed these things to come out of people and then wreak havoc on the planet.” I said. My mind suddenly recalled the stories about those vampire things. From what I remember the people had become stronger, more powerful and were able to absorb blood from people somehow. That was what made people call them vampires. Was that what the f**k these things were trying to do. But why didn’t they drain Olivia? “I am wondering that these things that are attacking us are what people called vampires.” I said and everyone looked at me suddenly. “I know its been an urban legend for years, but when you think about it, you saw how Vinnie and the fake Olivia acted.” “Captain’s got a point,” William said. “I think our priority right now is make sure the Colonel is okay.” I said. Olivia and I locked eyes briefly again. “Oooh I’m telling,” I heard the f*****g monkey say. I threw a knife in the direction that I had felt he was in. I watched the knife hit the wall but no monkey. “Captain?” William asked. I walked over to the knife and looked around. The mother fucker was here somewhere and I knew it. Now I was starting to look crazy. Quickly I thought of an excuse. “Sorry I thought there was another one of those Inklors here,” I said. “Good one,” the monkey said. I looked around again. I decided to ignore him after looking around. I paused for a moment waiting for the monkey to say something. Surprisingly he didn’t say anything. So, I turned my attention back to the task at hand. “Luckily the Colonel’s office is not far from here,” I said. Olivia looked like she wanted to say something but was holding back for some reason. “Something wrong?” I asked she quickly walked towards me. “I think I need to change very quickly,” she whispered. I looked at her, I just nodded. “Go ahead me and the boys will wait for you outside,” I shrugged. “Boys,” I said looking at William and Eugene. “The captain needs to freshen herself up.” “Understood,” they both nodded. “We’ll be right outside,” I told Olivia. She gave me this warm smile that made my heart skip. “I wonder what Heather would say,” The monkey said. I decided to ignore him again. Once outside I looked around and sighed. I looked through my pockets and found my E-VAPORATE, a synthetic cigarette-like thing I had used before. I took a couple of puffs of it and sighed again. “You think Hunraken is behind this don’t you?” Eugene asked. “Smart assessment,” I said puffing on the E-VAPORATE. “You think he thinks the Colonel knows something?” William asked. “Well he would have to think that she is a victim of whatever the f**k they were doing on Sigma, in fact she might be the only one who survived that besides Heather.” I said. I was mulling over things in my head. There were a lot of things that I have figured out so far. And I was trying to put them together in my head. “Firstly,” I said to the boys. “I think whatever the f**k they were doing on Sigma was some sort of experiment using Inklor technology, they might have been able to somehow make Inklor DNA, and that is what caused the mutations that is known as the Sigmosis Plague.” “That is a good assessment Captain,” William said. “Brownnoser,” Eugene said I smirked seeing how he had pulled a pun with that sentence. “Secondly, after testing what would happen in some cases with the M parasite, they created with these tests they were able to mutate soldiers like the black knights and created the super soldier program.” I said. “Thirdly, the cure that they pushed off on people might be something that made the parasite go inactive but then suddenly activate years later.” I said. “So Hunraken, could have woken up the parasites on the base,” Olivia said coming out of her office. I looked over at her, she was wearing pants, this time. It wasn’t bad for a girl to wear pants, and she didn’t look at all bad in them. “Does she have a tight booty in that?” The monkey said. “My thoughts exactly,” I said. I cursed because I was trying to answer Olivia, but the f*****g monkey had interjected his off the hand comment and sounded like I had answered him. “Come on let’s look for the Colonel.”
