I woke up to the warmth of the morning sun peeking through the curtains, and my gaze fell on the most handsome man I had ever laid eyes on - my husband, Lucius. He was fast asleep, his chest rising and falling with each gentle breath. I couldn't help but smile as I watched him, feeling a deep sense of happiness and contentment taking over me.
Our marriage had been rocky lately, but last night had been a turning point. We had talked, laughed, and loved, and it felt like we were finally back on track. I felt grateful for this man, for his love and forgiveness.
As I gazed at Lucius, he suddenly stirred, his eyes fluttering open. He caught me staring at him, and a slow smile spread across his face. "Do I look so handsome?" he asked, his voice low and husky.
