He walks to his seat and finds a girl with brown hair and baggy clothes sitting next to his seat surprised that someone was brave enough to sit next to him." excuse me" he says trying to pass behind her. "ohh sorry,," the girl says in a sweet soft voice. her voice was like music to his ears curious about her he takes a seat close to her. "I'm Ethan,," he says softly and smiling. "Arden, nice to meet you" Arden responds extending her hand to shake Ethan's, electricity zips through both of them looking at their joint hands. Arden blushes and removes her hand from Ethan's hold. Ethan frowns and looks forward he didn't like how good it felt to touch her or how her blush turned his brain into mush he didn't wants to be attracted to this girl. He looks at her from the corner of his eye and she is still blushing a smile is creeping on her lips something inside him roars with pride he liked seeing her like that. "Are you new here" the words are out before he could regrate it. she turns to face him. She nods "I just transferred here to finish my last semester before graduating" she looks down. Arden seemed shy and boring, Ethan wasn't attracted to shy boring girls so he was shocked as to how was she even able to hold his attraction for this long ' maybe I'm just tired' he said to himself. but he finds himself even more curious about this girl. "Why did you want to come here,," he asks her if he had a choice he wouldn't want to be in Brooklyn but it was the only city his mother allowed him it wasn't far from his family. "It is different from home I needed a change,," she says looking sad as the professor walks and apologies for being late. Ethan's phone vibrates with a message notification from Kevin telling Ethan about a party in our faculty it was common for them to host parties throughout the weekend, Ethan could see Arden looking at him from the corner of his eye she is playing with her pencil and wasn't concentrating on what the professor was saying. Class is over and Ethan was walking towards his car he sees her standing next to the black car that took my spot, Kevin is already by his car chatting to her he says something to make her laugh. for the first time, Ethan notice how beautiful her genuine smile is and her laugh did things to him things he didn't like. ' maybe if I'm rude to her the feeling will go away she will lose interest' he thought. Arden smiles as she sees Ethan coming to words them "You said something about a party,," Ethan says ignoring Arden even though he can feel her eyes on him. "Ohh yeah mahn, oh where my manners this is Arden she and her sister recently transferred here.”Ethan gives Arden an unimpressed look. "We've met, let's go we're taking your car, " Ethan gets on the passenger side of Kevin's Ford's focus ST. "Oh hey, man aren't you going to move your car for Arden. " Ethan looks at Kevin through the open driver's window. "I didn't ask her to park there now did I she will have to make a plan. " Kevin mutters some sort of an apology. "Look man. She didn't knows and there is no need to be an asshole about it. " Kavin says to Ethan, Ethan gets out of the car to face her but a short blonde girl with a tight dress shows off her curve comes into my view. "Who the f**k park behind us,," she says while going to the passenger side of the car. "Some d**k head though it would be nice to block us since we parked in his spot. " Arden says angrily Ethan smiles ' mm she can bite when anger ' he takes out his keys and walk to his car" I'll see you at the party. " Ethan tells Kevin and gets into his car I start the car and it roars to life I back out of the parking lot to give her space to pass but not before I make obnoxiously loud sounds with my car. Arden's P.O.V The nerve of him. First, he pretends to not see me. Second, he acts like he's the king of parking lots then he so must as tries to insult by doing that two can play that game I get in my car and start it. "What is he doing,," Kate asks. "Showing off well 2 can play that game.” Kate looks at me. "But your car was made for racing." I grin he doesn't know that my car starts doing the same sound only louder getting everyone's attention I make the car shake as he reverses 's the car I get out of the parking lot making sure that my eyes turn my way as I do so. "There is a party at some faculty and I was wondering if you could go with me." I shake my head. "I can't." I hated parties, I disliked alcohol. I didn't want to have a panic attack in public I didn't like crowded rooms because I feel like his there watching me waiting for his chance to strike take me and kill me I would always lock myself in my room. I felt safe because he couldn't gets me in there he would never risk having my father see him, my parents thought it was time I started living and left the past behind me but I was still living in the past I never had a good night sleep since then I would have nightmares waking up in the middle of the night because I thought he was watching me always being paranoid when I saw someone who looked like him or drove the same car as him. "Please Arden just this once and if you don't like It I'll stay at home with you." I felt guilty because ever since everything happened Kate sacrificed her social life to be with me. I sigh. "Why not I'll give it a try." I didn't want to take more from her than I already had. "I'm not changing though." she looks at my outfit I'm wearing gray sweat pants a white t-shirt and all-white converse I felt safe in these clothes. "Okay fine,," she says pulling her face at my outfit. "But I am." I shake my head while spreading down the road to our apartment. "I'll wait for you in the car be quick." she rolls her eyes and gets out of the car I go through my Playlist I Seattle on Pray by Sam Smith ft. logic the speakers are blasting with music I close my eyes and roll down my seat enjoying the peaceful moment while it still lasts. *******************************************Adren's Dream**************************************** The door opens and Luke comes in his hair is wet he must have taken a shower his not wearing a s**t his muscles and abs are at full display his holding something in his hands, I am on the floor looking wet. My brown skin curves. I was his temptation his soul mate or so he thought he took the bucket of water and poured it on me. I don't get up just choke. He grabs me by her hair and pulled me to a chair wired he straps me in. "Arden" taps my cheeks while calling my name and my hand hangs low. I lift my head to look at him I don't have any strength my body is in pain and I'm feeling cold. "Good you’re up,," he says before switching on the chair he presses a button my whole body is being electrocuted. "Please stop Luke I promise to behave." I cry out as he presses the stop button. "You see Arden your strong-willed you’re a fighter you don't give up you’re not a submissive person you’re an Alpha in your own right,," he says switching on the machine. "But I'm going to fix that I'm going to make you submit to me even if it's the last thing I do." I'm electrocuted several times when he was done I couldn't even open my eyes or hold my head up I fall to the ground. I don't know when he untied me I felt the leather of the belt on my naked back I want to scream tell him to stop but I can't I don't have the energy to even open my eyes but tears stream out of my closed eyes as he hit me. landing hit after hit on my back, head, and face where ever he found skin, he put the belt away and I felt a sharp pain in my ribs. **************************************Dream ends***************************************** Adren's POV I wake up screaming and crying Kate is knocking on my window I wipe my face and unlock the car she takes one look at my face and I know she knows what I was dreaming of she opens her mouth to speak. "Don't let's go to the stupid party,," I say starting the car I get out of the parking lot and drive to the party Bury my face down by my grandson is playing and I remember the girl I used to be maybe. I still am maybe she is just waiting for her time to come back she was a fighter she didn't gives up and never lost hope we arrive at the place where the party is being held I park next to a yellow mustang something about it looks familiar like I've seen it before. I kill the engine and get out of the car at the same time as Kate. "looks like a full house, will you be able to handle it." I know she feels bad about this because of what she saw. "yea." I say my mom told me to keep myself busy keep my mind busy that way I won't give it time to let my demons in I don't know how long it has been since I went to a party, there were loud music red cups on the lawn people making out others smoking weed and drinking alcohol we went into the house motley crew by Post Malone was playing loud. "I want to introduce you to someone. " oh did I mention that Kate is a social butterfly she is hard to hate there was a group of people some smoking weed others drinking and making out she shows me the guy from earlier Kelvin I think I'm not good at remembering names. " he gives me a glass filled with a clear liquid I smell it and it smells like vodka mixed with berries. I'm about to thank him when I hear someone giggling right behind me on a sofa is Ethan and he has his tongue down some girl's throat and hand inside her panties his looking me in the eyes while his finger f*****g her with his tongue in her throat. I pull my face back and turn to my sister, Kevin takes it upon himself self to introduce us around. He stops by a cute person He is 6ft2 with tattoos all over his arms he looks like he hits the gym every day, his nose was pierced and his eyebrow has beautiful grayish eyes his hair is messy as if he just ran his hands through it. I nod and look, away Kate and Kevin say something about refills and walk away the only seat left is next to Aiden. “What are you doing in a place like this?," Aiden says taking a swing at his cup. "Kate asked me to come said I might enjoy it,," I say to Ethan, and the girl he with catches my attention when she starts to moan. "Doesn’t that bother you?" I ask Aiden he shakes his head. "Nah you get used to it tho it's a different girl every day." I pull my face. "So are you seeing anyone,," he asks getting closer to me. "Not at the moment." I want to move away from him but I do not know how to do it without seeming rude. I can see Ethan eyeing me with distaste yet I don't understand why.
