Arden's P.O.V

It's 6 am when the alarm goes off. I groan it is too early for a human being to function but I force myself to get up and go to the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth. I came back to my room; I took a summer job at a coffee shop not far from where I was staying. I eye the uniform with distaste it was a normal uniform I did not like it because I could not wear sweat pants.

the skirt reached below my knees and I knew I wouldn't be able to bend in this skirt unless I'm role-playing, I walk to the kitchen and eye Kate's coffee.

"Hey you’re up early," Kate says I groan again.

"work." she looks at me.

"You know you don't have to work right." I nod.

"I know but I can't spend my summer indoors it's better when I keep my mind busy it helps down the voices out." she looks at me with sympathy and I smile at her.

"Where’s my tea," I ask checking the pantry looking for my herbal tea.

"I don't know how you even drink that s**t," she says taking out the tea from the pantry.

"The same way you drink your coffee anyway my s**t is healthy unlike yours." I make my tea and grab an energy bar.

"What are you doing today?" I asker summer break just began.

"I'm going out with Kevin then I'll drop by the coffee shop to check on you." I smile.

"Okay," I said pouring my coffee in a travel mug and grabbing my energy bar.

we stayed in the Northside of Brooklyn and the coffee shop I worked at was a little bit to the east, I get in the car and it smells like Ethan’s aftershave with a hint of mint I smile to myself as I blow on my hot tea then take a sip.

I put the travel mug in the cup holder and start my car. I open the windows to let the air in, I drive out of the parking lot there is no morning traffic and I think to myself who would be up this early. ‘love all’ by Drake, Jay-Z is playing, I arrive at Lily's coffee shop I park my car and head inside I smile at the other employees whose name I'm yet to know.

I don't use the locker room I keep my things in my car the shop opens at 8:30, it was only 7:30 I decided to have my breakfast which was an energy bar and herbal tea. When I was done eating I throw away the wrapper and took my travel mug to the car, I did not like people touching my things.

I am busy wiping the counters when someone stops in front of me. “Arden."

I look up to find Aiden standing there smiling at me his dimples popping out. "hey what are you doing where."

I ask him. "I have an internship at the Jacksons' tech company so I decided to grab some coffee here before heading there."

oh but we're not open yet.“ he winks at me." I know”.

Lilly is the owner of the coffee shop and Aiden’s mother "ohh Aiden you’re here."

Lilly says while she gives Arden a tray of coffee." thank ma.”

he says while heading out." see you later Arden.”

I smile and wave Ms. James turns to me," I didn't know you were friends with my son."

she says in a polite voice." we recently met ma'am."

I tell her while cleaning the countertop." oh don't be silly call me Lilly."

She says smiling." OK, ma'- I meant Lilly."

Lilly is a sweet middle-aged lady with dark brown hair and brown eyes and dimples pop when she smiles she walks to the door to put the open sign it was a slow morning I took my break at 10:15 before the rush hour I send Kate a text.

The rush hour started at 12:30, I was waiting tables when I felt some touch my ass I close my eyes I knew this skirt was too small I turn to find the guy grinning at me but his grin fades away. I'm about to ask if I can help him when the hairs behind my neck stand.

"I don't think it good manners to touch a lady like that," Ethan says behind me I turn to see Ethan in a suit it hugged him perfectly making his muscles look bigger he must have noticed me drooling at him because he smirked he cleared his throat and my eyes reluctantly went to his face his smirks grow into a smile.

"Hey, how are you., he asked I smiled.

"I'm good." I looked around and saw the other employees busy.

"can I take you to your table," I asked he nodded

Ethan's P.O.V

Her ass is moving side to side, as she walks and my d**k comes to life, I remember those soft lips. She comes to a stop at an empty table.

"There you go, and here's the menu." I take a seat and look at the menu. I want to tell her that she is not on the menu and there is nothing more appetizing than she but I settle for.

"Thanks, are you going to have lunch with Me." she shakes her head.

"Already had lunch she says." and breakfast.

"she adds quickly I nod she walks to the kitchen then comes back with someone's order the guy who touched her ass is still looking at her after doing a couple of rounds on other tables she comes to me

“Has your waiter come by to take your order?" I smile and shake my head she takes out her pad and paper and asks me what I want to eat.

“I’d like a Chicken sandwich and a cup of black coffee.”She writes it down.

"What did you have for breakfast." she looks at me and in a soft voice.

"I had an Energy bar and herbal tea." I look at her.

"Are you on a diet." she laughs and shakes her head.

“I seem to get sick after taking something with high caffeine level so I stick to green tea, herbal tea, and decaf coffee." I nod.

“I’ll also have a grilled cheese sandwich with decaf to go." she nods writes it down and walks to the kitchen I take out my iPad and go through the documents my dad sent me.

I will be taking over the family business when after passing my last semester. I am using the summer to familiarize myself, with the investors and deals going on. She sets down two coffees next to me one decaf and the other one normal a chicken sandwich and grilled cheese sandwich.

I walk to my table grab the two coffees and sandwiches to the counter to pay the cashier to round up my meals and I pay for them I tell her to give the sandwich and coffee to Arden, she looked surprised at first then smiles.

I go to my car which is parked next to Arden’s car I peep inside I see a notebook. I get in my car and speed out of the parking lot.
