A Pro Hockey Player with a track record of bunny scandals.......

When your brother is a star hockey player and your sister is a Hollywood actress, everyone would want to hang out with you, to live your life, to have you hook them up with your hot brother, to take pictures with your sister. This is the life of twenty year old Liz Summers, a final year college student.

After being dragged to a hockey game by her best friend, Liz witnesses her brother's first loss to a new team in the new season. Jason Summers has never lost a game since his draft, so he takes a personal hatred to the guy who scored the winning shot for the opposing team, Aaron West.

Chapter 1 || My Best Friend is my favorite kind of Insane
L I Z "You're stained," someone whispered softly behind me. My heart skipped a bit immediately, because it wasn't a female voice, it was a male's. "Here," it said, and I felt a hoodie wrapping around my waist. I turned to thank the person, but before I could, he turned on his heels and walked away, saving me the hideous embarrassment. These damn tampons. I tie the long hands of the hoodie around my waist, while I wait for my big brother to arrive from an away game. I've been here for two and half hours. Thanks to my loving big brother. He was supposed to be here an hour ago, I'm guessing his flight was late. This isn't new anyway, he's always kept me waiting in times like this. I want to sit down, but I can't, I'll ruin this hoodie. Half of me is glad that the mysterious dude walked away, the other half of me expected him to stay for at least a few seconds, despite the embarrassment. "Just when is Jason going to get here?," I grunt to myself. "That's thirty minutes more," I grunt to myself, glancing at my phone. The airport isn't really busy at the moment, but once my brother and his teammates arrive, it's going to be as crowded as hell. I know what you're thinking, I'm supposed to also be popular because my big brother is a Professional Hockey Player, but that's my sister's job, I don't want people to recognise me simply because my brother is famous. I've lived in the shadows of my older ones because I'm not into the famous life, and because I'm not as smart as them....... "When is your asshole of a brother going to get here?," I hear a voice grunt behind me. It's Diane, my favorite person. "I've been waiting for you forever," we hug and she pulls away, her eyes catching the hoodie tied around my waist. "Where did you get that?!," She squeals. Now that I'm about to explain this embarrassing story to her, I realise that I'm somewhat excited that the dude didn't bother to look at me. My eyes spot the door to the ladies room, so I pull her behind me until we get there. "Do you have any tampons in your purse?," I ask, my voice shaking. "Oh God Liz! Don't tell me you got stained, whatever happened to new year, new beginnings?," She digs in her purse and hands me one. "Thank you!," I squeal. I hand her the hoodie and then I head into the rooms to take care of my business. My very annoying business. "No way! You gotta come check out this hoodie!," She screams. "What's on it?!," I yell back, adjusting my skirt and heading out. Her mouth is hanging open. What have I done? "You made a jackpot Babe! A f*****g huge jackpot!," She squeals. "This hoodie says West, Number 13," she shoves it in my face. I'm not a fan of hockey, so the more I stare at it, the more I get super confused. "Aaron West, Number 13, Captain of the Seattle Hockey team!," She screams. Oh, now I get, it's a guy. "Oh," where is she going with this? "The person didn't let stare at him, he just whispered to me, wrapped me and left," "No way, what if he was the one that wrapped this around your waist?, Did he talk to you?," She's already drilling me for details. "We don't even know if it was him," I tell her and she rolls her eyes. "And I don't want to give my brother anymore punching bags," I adjust my dark bra length hair as I stare at the mirror. Diane joins me. "I hate your brother," she says. "He's just being overprotective," I sigh as we exit the ladies room. Jason hasn't arrived yet, and that's when my phone buzzes with a text, it's him. JASON *I got to the airport and you weren't there, thanks for nothing. We'll sort s**t out at home. PS: you're coming to my next game, it's next week Friday, no excuses. Diane reads the text with me and then she grunts in anger. "Imma kick that Dude in the face," she says. I grab my bag and follow her till we exit the airport. Great! She drove. Diane drives a Porsche. It's a red one and I love it, I wish Mom didn't have to get me an SUV. It's a nice drive, but it's big, that's why I ride in Diane's most of the time. "He's such a d**k," she snorts. "Does he have any idea how long he made you wait?," She slaps the steering wheel. "It's fine, I'm used to it," I tell her and she hisses. "You're not supposed to get used to it. He's your brother, not your f*****g father for f**k sake," she says, her eyes focused on the streets. "It's okay if you think it's because you're adopted, but seriously, this is getting out of control," she says and I roll my eyes at her, saying nothing. "Alright, I'mma shut up," she closes the topic and I find myself exhaling, it's a huge sigh of relief. Yes, I'm an adopted child. But my Dad, Mom and Sis never made me feel that way. Only Jason did. According to him, I ruined things when I entered their lives. I understand him, that's why I try not to show how offended I am, even though it hurts. A song by Little Mix blasts the car radio. I think it's Sweet Melody. Diane grunts at the beginning of the song and I'm forced to ask her why, because I love Little Mix. "What's your opinion of Little Mix?," I ask. We stop, apparently the traffic lights commanded us to. "I think they are a......," She pauses, "group of badass bitches," she makes air quotes, "that dated a lot of douchebags, think about it, they're always singing about bad breakups and how they feel better," she rolls her eyes and I laugh, she's a bit right. I love Little Mix because they give me hashtag girlpower vibes. I look out the window and I spot a girl. She's dressed in a Navy blue jumpsuit. She's dark skinned, but her skin is lighter than Diane's. Our eyes meet and she takes a look at the dumb traffic light and then she runs to us. "Can I get a ride?," She asks. "Are the Ubers in the country finished?," Diane half jokes. "Please don't kidnap me," she jokes. I love her curly hair already. "We are big time millionaire kidnappers," Diane jokes. "Get in," I tell the curly head and she hops in. As soon as she does, the dumb red on the traffic light changes to green. We move. "I'm Yvonne," she says and Diane shoots her a look from the rearview mirror. "I'm Diane and this is Liz," she gestures to me and I smile. "Hi Liz!" Yvonne greets. We talk for a few minutes and Diane shows her a picture of me on her i********:. Funny enough, they both agree that I look like a younger version of Gigi Hadid. "Ha-ha, very funny guys," I roll my eyes at them. But I love Gigi so much! "Can we exchange numbers? You guys are really cool," she says and we agree. I'm not going to lie, she seems cool too. After we exchange numbers, we drop Yvonne off and Diane drops me at my house. Promising to attack Jason at night. I try not to laugh, because she's dead serious. "Welcome Sweetie," Mom pulls me into a tight hug. Her brown her covers my face. I slowly pull away as she admires me with her stunning blue eyes. Matter of fact - Mom's a gorgeous being, and Dad's super lucky to have her. I'm telling you, this woman has refused to grow old. "Run to your room before your brother comes down, and oh... Kim's home," she winks. Even Mom agrees that Jason is a pain in the ass. Kimberly, my older sister. Apart from Mom and Dad, Kimberly also loved me the moment I got here. Except that she had to go to boarding school so we didn't get to spend so much time together. But Kim always makes out time for Sisters' Night. Kim is a Hollywood Actress, so she's a camera person. She's as popular as Jason. She starred in a couple of big movies, but she never rubs it in my face. But no matter how good I paint my life to be, it's really not the best. "Elizabeth!," s**t, Jason's at my door. I open it and he walks in. His eyes scan my room like I had someone's come over. God, when will he stop? "Let's get straight to it, why didn't you pick me up?," He snaps. My brother's hair is faintly dark, and his light blue eyes darken when ever he's upset...with me. "I was at the airport for almost three hours and you decided to show up when I had to use the bathroom, clearly, fate didn't want me to pick you up," I explain. "I don't believe you," he huffs. "Ask Diane," "Diane's your bestie, she'd definitely take your side....," "Just shut it Jason!," Kim yells from the hallway and she steps in. Love you Kim. "Yeah, get outta here," she snaps at him. He glares at me, then he leaves. I wish I had guts to chase him away like Kim. "And you, you're in your Senior Year of College, and you're twenty, you deserve a break," she grabs my hands. "And you will be twenty one in a few months, I think he should stop bossing you around," "I know," I mutter. "When are you going back to you and Diane's?," She asks. Diane and I live off campus, but I just decided to come home because I had to pick up Jason and hang out with Kim. "After Jason's game," I tell her. "Seems we'll hang out a lot," she squeals and I join her. "Get some rest, and lock your door....I'll handle Jason," she winks. "Thanks Sis," she leaves, and I jump to my feet, locking the door. I pace around my room, studying the hoodie I had on my waist earlier. Diane said it belongs to Aaron West, Number 13, Captain of the Seattle hockey team. Before I know what I'm doing, I'm on my phone, thinking of a keyword to find the amazing Aaron West. But the moment I type in "Aaron West" into the search bar, the first account greeting me is "officialaaronwest" and the bio reads "I Play Pro Hockey". He's got 15 million Followers, and his account is verified. Woah. Oh yeah, just like Jason's. Except that Jason's got 7 million. That's a really huge gap. I scroll, damn.....this guy is damnnn. He's got like thirty six pictures, each of them having nothing less than 4 million likes. He has the perfect jawline, emerald green eyes, kissable lips, a wonderful torso and he looks incredibly hot on the ice. All the sweat and the....... Snap back Liz, Jason rule number five - Never have a crush on a PRO HOCKEY PLAYER. But still, it's impossible not to stare. As Diane would say, "holy fuckanolly, this guy is fuckable". A notification pops up. Think of the demon and she appears. DIANE *Snooping around his i********: already? I text back. LIZ *This guy is the definition of smokin' hot She texts back immediately. DIANE *I told u so *dancing lady emoji* She calls immediately and I laugh to myself, lying on the bed as I answer the call. "Hey Boo! I just saw this movie and I want to watch it with you," she says, yes.....Diane is a movie addict, she watches all kinds of movies, including Sonic The Hedgehog. "What movie is it?," I roll my eyes like she can see me. "Fifty Shades.....," I cut her off immediately. "I told you I'm not a fan of all that kinky stuff," "You didn't let me finish," she whines. "Fifty Shades of Grey, what's there to finish?" "Oh no Baby, no....I was going to say Fifty Shades of Black," my jaw drops and I throw my head backwards in laughter. "Okay Diane, what the heck is that?," I'm laughing. When did his surname change from Grey to Black? "Trust me, the movie is f*****g hilarious, his name his Christian Black and her name is Hannah Steale... as in the thief word," she's still laughing. "Okay, what the heck?!," I'm laughing, that's the thing about Diane, she knows exactly how to make me laugh. "You're coming here tomorrow right?," She says as both our laughs cease. "this place is boring without you," she pauses. "How's Kiara!," I can hear her squealing. Kiara is my little kitten and I take her with me every where I go, except to class of course. She's got all white and brown fur and she's really cute, so cute that you can cry while looking at her. She's asleep right on the pillow next to me and I brush her fur with my hands. "Kiara is doing fine, we are coming home tomorrow," I assure her and I can feel her smile. "I have a surprise for you and I don't want to tell you, I want to text you," I can feel her smirking from here, she's insane. She hangs up immediately and my phone beeps. DIANE *In five, four, three, two, one *crazy face emoji* She texts again. DIANE *I bought tickets for the hockey game next week Friday, u re going 2 show up wearing that hoodie. f**k Jason. u deserve some good d**k nd some fun. I'mma pick ur clothes. Don't text me back, go to bed. Ilysffffm. *Heart emoji* *sleeping emoji* I laugh, dropping my phone on the bed, "officialaaronwest" glittering on my phone's screen. She got us hockey tickets? Well I don't have a choice now. I'm going to the game next Friday.
