We ate in silence. I was enjoying my food too much to be bothered. The meat was delicious. I hungrily ate mine, finished and relaxed against the wall. My stomach was filled, I had no worries, at that exact moment, I sighed contented. This is what life was all about.
"Thank you for the food." I said as an afterthought. My eyes closed just savoring this moment.
"Rest up. Tomorrow we start our training. Be warned, it will be intense."
"Yes Master!" I said happily. In this mood I was in no one was bursting my bubble so easily. I lay my head gently on the ground and let the sleep carry me.

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty. The early bird catches the worm." Roesia's voice floated into my eyes bringing me back to the land of the living. I groggily got up rubbing my eyes. I couldn't tell what time it was but I was sure it was barely dawn. I yawned widely then gently stretched myself.
"Good morning." I told her in my sleepy voice once she drifted into my view.
"Morning. Get up and stretch. We'll start with a run." she announced as she pulled off her clothes and started stretching. She really didn't come to play, huh. I sluggishly got up, followed her lead and pulled off my clothes and started stretching.
"try and match my pace, okay?" she said as she walked out. I nodded and followed her. It was still dawn. The breeze was cold I shivered slightly. Roesia transformed and I followed suit. Her wolf was huge. Almost the same size as Hyde's wolf. For a female that was very impressive. With midnight black fur and some tinge of brown. I was honestly a bit embarrassed to stand by her. I felt like I was her pup with the sheer difference in size. She must be from a family of alphas. She stood tall and proud. Me on the other hand... She signaled me and started running.
I snapped out of the black hole I'd gotten myself into and started running after her. She started off slowly then gradually increased her pace. I thought it would be a bit more challenging than this. Should I pass her? She must have read my mind because she doubled her speed. I could barely keep up. Slowly by slowly, the distance was increasing between us. I pushed myself trying to match her pace but she was too fast for me. Just when I was about to give up she slowed down, allowing me to catch up to her. She spared me a glance then continued running.
We ran and ran then finally, when the sun was beginning to shine its rays we stopped in a clearing of sorts. I was panting so hard I found myself lying down to catch my breath. She barked harshly immediately having me on my feet today. She did a play-bow which signaled she wanted us to start the training. Fight mode. She took a defense stance. Which could only mean she wanted me to attack first. Why am I always the ont to attack first? Unknowingly I let out a whine. Roesia snarled impatiently and I got into position. "if I were to fight a wolf double my size where would I attack first?" I thought to myself.
Should I go for the neck from the word go? I observed her trying to see where she was vulnerable but I couldn't find anywhere. Should I make a half ditch attempt? No, she would definitely know. But would she?
I dashed forward and lunged for her neck. Effortlessly she moved aside and pinned me down with her paw on my neck. I tried moving but she stood strong. She increased the force she was using, cutting off my air supply. I struggled and struggled but she wasn't relenting. Suddenly, she lifted herpse having me scrambling backwards from her.
Without even giving me time to recover she pounced sending me off my feet and crushing into a tree. I whimpered and got to my feet. She looked at me pitifully then transformed back to her human form.
"You really are pathetic." She said it more to herself than me. I tried to not let those words hurt. But they did. They really stung.
"HoW is it possible that you can't fight at all?" she asked me in disbelief. She shook her head. "Change back." she ordered.. I didn't want to but I felt like I didn't really have that much of a choice. Reluctantly, I changed back into my human form and remained sitted on the ground.
"Let's see what you've got in human form." she said as she took her stance. "Come at me, little girlie." that name irked me. I got up rage pumping in my veins. I rushed forward and tried to punch her but she blocked, I tried again with all my strength in this blow but she blocked it again. She sent her leg under me, sweeping me off my feet and landing painfully on my butt.
"Again." she said getting into position.
I got up again and lunged at her this time with the intention of tackling her to tbe ground. She didn't budge. I pushed and pushed. Nothing. She grabbed me by my shoulders and threw me back. I shouted annoyed. I got up and lunged at her again trying to sink my teeth into her as I did with Hyde that day, but she held me by my head holding me back. She bent and looked at me.
"Fascinating. But I'm not letting those teeth sink into me. Wolf bites take longer to heal than orfmdinsry wounds. She said pushing my head back. This was frustrating. Nothing I was doing was giving me an upper hand.
"Again," she announced.
We went at this until the sun was at its brightest then she finally stopped it. I couldn't be more grateful.
"Lers go freshen up." She said smiling. "We'll pick this up tomorrow."
I nodded following her. I was so tired, she looked like she'd barely broken a sweat. In fact if she had broken a sweat it must have been from the sheer heat and not from any of my attacks which she'd warded off effortlessly. I'd have to think of new moves to try on her tomorrow. She can't be immune to all of them.
"Your brother was my mate."
