"Did you realize what you have just done? Why would you allow your father to cut ties with you? He's the only family you've got. Now you'll go back and apologize to him. It's not just right.” Surprisingly, Jack took sides with Wellington and scolded Jane instead. Age 30. He's got blue eyes, neatly trimmed beards, and a dragon-shaped tattoo on his back. Quite muscular and handsome that makes girls go crazy. He finds it difficult to imagine that Jane would place him above her father.
"This wasn't the man I fell in love with. What changed? I thought you promised to spend the rest of your life with me! This is that opportunity.
I did it for love and I have no regret.” Jane was obstinate and defended her actions.
"Abandon your father to be with me? We could have resolved it amicably. We should go see him and plead for his acceptance. I've got a bad feeling about this.” Jack initiated with and freaked out. He wasn't comfortable with Jane's decision. Somehow, he fears her father won't give up without a fight.
"Enough with this attitude. Even you! You should support every decision I take. That's the least I expected from you. Do you think it was easy making such a decision? It's not been easy on me, either. I just need you to love me. Who cares about my father's acceptance? You beginning to act like the man my Father portrayed you to be. You're no match for me. For once in your life, Jack, act like a man. Don't make me regret making this decision with you. I swear, I'm gonna kill you and kill myself!” Jane vowed with an unfriendly snare. She wasn't feeling his vibes and expected more from him. He was shivering like a hen drenched by the rain.
"I apologize for downplaying your efforts. I'm just concerned about you. What are you gonna do now? How do we get a job? I only just graduated from business school, and getting a decent job without the right connection is quite tedious. Your father is affiliated with a reputable organization. He could help us.”Jack asked in a soft tone as he grabbed Jane by the waist.
"Can you stop talking about my father? The world doesn't revolve around him. He's just my father and not the Messiah. Jane hinted. She's got long curly hair that reaches her back. Her eyes are bright and clear, like the purest of water.
"Any solution? My head's spinning right now. I can barely think straight.” Jack asked.
"Yes, there is. I've got the connection needed. Just a few calls, and we'll get you a good job. It's not that difficult. We should be happy the drama is finally over now.” Jane assured him and kissed his forehead. Jack marveled as he widened his mouth in a fly-catching position. It took him 60 seconds to realize that. “Who are you? Damn! I don't deserve you! You're the best thing I ever had. And I promise not to disappoint or make you regret choosing me,” Jack pledged as he brushed his lips against hers.
"Say no more. You've got nothing to prove. I trust you with my life. Replacing you with my Dad was the best decision I ever made. I just want you to be strong for me. Let's fight this together.” Jane urged and locked lips with Jack. Leaning forward, he grabbed her waist and kissed her passionately. Pulling off her purple shirt, he fondled her breast and suckled on her n****e for several minutes to his satisfaction, making her moan In pleasure.

Mr. Wellington still hasn't gotten over the shocking rejection he got from his daughter, Jane. “I can't believe she did that to me. I've never been so humiliated in my life before.” he bemoaned In his room, soaking himself with liquor. Wellington's late wife's dying wish was to ensure Jane got the best care after her Demise. With Jack in the picture, Wellington is afraid his wife's death wish might not be granted. “Jack won't guarantee her success. He's a killer of destiny. Why is she blind to see that?” Wellington wailed and emptied the 3rd bottle of tequila. He locked himself in the room and refused to come out or speak to anyone. He practically ignored his business associates just to stay in his room all day and grieve.
At this moment, nothing ever mattered to him. He just wanna get his daughter back. “Perhaps, I should call her and pledge my support to her relationship. No, doing that will make me less of a man. If there's anyone who needs to call and apologize, she should be the one, not me. She wronged me. She broke my rule by having a relationship with that loser, Jack.”

Jane rushed out of the room, screaming Jack's name for an emergency. A faded bungalow with peeling paint and a sagging roof. The walls are cracked and worn out, which gives the atmosphere an unpleasant smell.
"Babes, I'm right here. What's the matter? I heard you scream my name. I had to rush out immediately,” Jack responded from the living room as he enjoyed watching a football game.
"I told you we don't have to worry about my Dad. Didn't I? Now it's happening.” Jane pounced on Jack and kissed him with reckless abandon.
"Okay, what's happening? You seem so excited,” Jack asked in curiosity. He was eager to know the reason for her sudden happiness because a while ago, she was heartbroken by the recent drama happening.
“Guess what baby? Just guess.”
“Come on, I'm terrible at guessing, and you know that. Please tell me already. Anxiety has enclosed my face,”
"Okay, fine. I'll tell you. Remember I told you I've got a few connections that would get us a job?”
" Yeah, I did recall. What about it?” Still eager to find out, Jack asked in keen interest.
“So I spoke with a friend who works for an accounting department and told her about you. You got a job interview slated for 9:30 am tomorrow. Awesome yeah?" Jane divulged with so much enthusiasm.
“This is the best I've heard in a while. You are such a lifesaver. Where have you been all my life? I don't deserve this treatment from you.” With a cracked voice, Jack displayed his heartfelt gratitude to Jane. He had already lost all hope of ever finding a job. How Jane did it remains a mystery to him. He became forever indebted to her.
