CHAPTER 14

Alexander smiled with satisfaction, his eyes couldn't stop staring at Lucia's body, which was still lying on his bed. He hadn't done so in a long time, all because of the woman in front of him, so it was only fitting that Lucia received punishment from him this time. However, there was something that irritated him a little. The woman was now sobbing, as if making love to him was something unpleasant. "Stop crying!" he snapped as he threw her clothes at her. "I wonder, why stiff even cry? Am I that bad at serving you?” he said. Lucia was reluctant to reply, she was too annoyed with herself for enjoying Alexander's faithful touch earlier. Even though she knew this kind of thing would continue and she had to get used to it, it was painful to enjoy all this while she, who used to think s*x was something sacred and had to be done with the man she loved, now felt humiliated by her own actions. She doesn't want to blame Alexander, it's all her fault. If she could turn back time, she wished that night had never been drunk. That way she wouldn't have ended up here, in the arms of that madman. Putting it on immediately, she was too embarrassed to even see her own reflection at that moment. Feeling neglected, Alexander again felt annoyed. He wasn't the patient type of guy, getting that kind of treatment only made him want to punish Lucia even more than now. He cupped Lucia's face with both hands, lifting her up so that their faces were closed and their eyes met. "Are you deaf, huh? Answer my question!" Lucia held back her tears from spilling out again, then she dared to look into the eyes of the man who had managed to hurt her pride. “What do you want to hear? Would you like to hear that I am very satisfied with your service?” Her voice trembled, holding back the tears that felt like they could spill out at any moment. "Do you want to hear me begging you to f**k me again?" Of course that was what Alexander wanted to hear, but there was a strange sense of guilt at the sight of Lucia's gaze and the tears condensing into her eyelids. He pushed her back, then he snorted in annoyance as he rubbed his face in annoyance. "Hurry up and put on all your clothes. Before heading back to the apartment, we will go shopping for new clothes for you.” "I don't need that." "Why? Tell me what you need right, I can give you anything—" "Give me freedom." Hearing that, Alexander was getting annoyed. “We haven't even been dating for 24 hours and you really want to leave me, huh? Will never!" The man reached into his box of cigarettes, then burned one. The instant the smoke rose up in the air, that was his way of releasing his emotions towards Lucia. "When you're done, get off immediately. I'll be waiting for you in the parking lot." After saying that, Alexander walked away, leaving Lucia, who hadn't even finished getting dressed yet. After the man had left, only then did Lucia burst into tears. She thought she had accepted her destiny, and now she had to live a life like a prostitute, apparently all of this was too difficult for her. If he knew it would be so painful as this, he would never accept the agreement and give himself up except to be his lover. In his car, Alexander was waiting anxiously. He felt guilty when he saw the woman crying, even though he thought what he was doing was normal for a couple. He still doesn't understand until now, even though women usually fight to be able to serve him in bed, but Lucia actually shows refusal even though in the end she agrees to be his lover. “Actually… why does she dislike me so much?” he muttered. He tried to look in the mirror through the car window. "Compared to that bastard, I think I'm much better," he muttered. Now he turned to the driver. "Hey, you!" "Yes sir?" asked the driver, turning to look at him. "Am I ugly?" he asked. The man quickly shook his head. "You are the most handsome man I know, sir." Alexander glared at him. "You're not praising me because I'm your boss, are you?" he asked sarcastically. The man smiled faintly. Even though that was the reason, he didn't lie about the handsome Alexander. The man had a bright blue eye color with thick eyelashes, his face was firm and had a beautiful nose and lips, he was a handsome man. "You can think like that, but you are indeed handsome, sir." Now Alexander was satisfied to hear a much more honest answer than before. "Yeah, I can't argue with that," he said proudly. “But, why does he keep showing his distasteful side to me?” The man frowned, trying to guess who his boss meant. Until he finally had an answer after much thought. "What do you mean it's your new secretary?" "Yeah, who else?" The man smiled faintly. These days, Alexander took her everywhere, even when he saw some important clients. He worked for several years with Alexander. Of course, he had understood that Lucia must have held an important position for his superiors. "Maybe Miss is just shy, sir." "Shy? Why should you be ashamed? You mean she's embarrassed about being the lover of Alexander Galloway?" The man nodded slowly. "It's not like that, sir. Women are usually shy when it comes to starting a relationship, they prefer a much more relaxed and unhurried approach.” Hearing that, Alexander just nodded slightly. "Oh I see. Fine—" He was cut off when his phone rang loudly. "Wait a minute." He then answered, it was a call from John—his secretary. "Hi, Lex," he greeted over the phone. "Yes, what is up?" Jhon then told what had happened to the Galloway family, as well as about Immanuel, who kept failing to contact him because he had been too busy with Lucia. Hearing that, Alexander was furious. William and Delilah always disturbed his composure. In fact, he had made sure everything was safe until he finally decided to go to the city where he was now. "It's my fault, Lex. I guess I wasn't careful enough when I watched them." "Not. It's not your fault, it looks like they did it on purpose in secret, even though Mr Frederick has rarely socialized with that woman lately." "Then what shall we do? Immanuel and I are busy contacting several families who have single daughters to set up with you.” Alexander snorted in annoyance, the man always acted as he pleased—he thought. “Tell the old man to stay calm. I'm going back there tonight. It looks like I have to give William a special gift too." "Okay. I will contact Mister Immanuel.” Alexander disconnected the call immediately, then he took a deep breath. "We're going back to Waystreet." The driver, of course, was confused. “Then, Miss Lucia?” “Order someone to take her to the apartment and order her to wait for me to come home tomorrow evening. There's no need to go to work, so just stay in the apartment until I get back." "Yes sir." The man got out of his car, went to one of Alexander's men to deliver his orders. It didn't take long, he came back and immediately drove his vehicle. Alexander regrets this momentary separation with his new lover, but he needs time to sort things out there first. Meanwhile, outside, Lucia, who had just gotten off after she managed to calm herself down, was confused when she saw Alexander's car, which had just left the building. Not long after, a man approached him, conveyed a message from Andrew to Lucia, who finally got an answer from her restlessness. "Come with me to the car, Miss—" "I just want to go home," she said. "But Miss, later Master will be angry with us—" “I will go to his apartment before he returns. Give me the address, I'll go there myself. Besides, I also need time to tidy up my clothes," she said. The man thought for a moment. He knew what his boss was like, so he didn't want to take any chances. "Fine, but I'll watch over your house. I was worried something had happened to you.” Hearing that, Lucia could only sigh heavily. It seemed like running away was difficult, but at least he could say goodbye to Mrs Gwen and her son—Sam Oliver.
