Chapter 21

Hope’s Pov:- 

Tears rolled down my eyes at his words, he didn’t care whether I stay or go then why should I waste my time being here. I wiped my tears, I will leave this place and go back to my house. I will not stay here no matter what. 

The next morning, I got ready and walked downstairs. I saw Lillith and Sean talking with Blade with serious expressions on their faces. Looking at the way they both looked at each other with disappointment, I understood what Blade was telling them. 

Hearing my footsteps they both turned their heads to me, “Good morning,” I greeted them, 

“Good morning,” They both greeted back,

“Dear, we feel ashamed of our son’s behaviour,” Lilith said while holding my hand, 

“I apologise to you behave of him,” She said, 

“No, please don’t,” I said in disapproval, 

I took a deep breath, “I want to leave, Please take me back to my home,” I asked, 

“I don’t want to stay here,” I said, 

“Dear, we totally understand why you don’t want to stay here, there's something you need to know before you leave,” Lilith said while glancing at sean. 

“Mom, Let me tell her,” Blade cut her off, 

I glanced at Blade in confusion, “It’s best if I tell her,” He added, 

“Okay,” she nodded her head, 

“Hope come with me,” He said while grabbing my hand, 

“Okay,” I replied and followed him, 

He led me out of the packhouse and towards an old abandoned warehouse, “This use to be our training place when we’re small,” He said, 

“Okay, why did you bring me here?” I asked, 

“To tell you about the past of Dakota, reason... why he behaves that way,” He said while staring at me, 

“Past?” I asked in confusion,

“Yes, He has an abusive past… He has been sexually abused,” He said, 

“What!” I exclaimed in shock,

“Yes, when we were 16 years old, during training class he met two girls named Victoria and Katherine… they used to train together and hang out together all the time,” He said, “Everyone thought they were just friends but they weren’t,” a sadness crossed over his face,

“One day I was training with my dad and all of sudden his memories rushed to me,” he said, “I had an extreme headache, My vision completely block and all I could see was those two sisters looking at my brother with lust in their eyes,” He said, 

“What’s horrible was that I saw their mother behind them,” he added, 

“When a mate dies or leave, it could be difficult when the Haze hits, female wolves can grow more sexally frustrated than male,” He explained, 

“And they sexually abused him for days,” he said, 

“They held him captive and kept abusing him day and night,” He confessed, 

“Dad found him at last and banished those three from the pack,” He added, 

“From then, he wasn’t the way he used to be before,” he said with a sad look on his face, 

“He never talks nor tells us what he feels, he grew distant,” He added, 

“He believes that he’s broke and can not fulfil the responsibilities of being a mate, he says he doesn’t deserve a mate,” he said, 

“That’s why he never believed in mates,” He confessed, 

“He thinks, he doesn’t deserve you,” He said looking at me,

“What?” I asked, 

“Yes,” He replied, 

“You can help him, Hope,” he said with desperation in his eyes,

“You are his mates,” he added, “You can make him believe that he’s not broke and he deserves to have a mate and be happy,” he held my hands, 

“Please, help him,” He said, 

I nodded my head, “I will help him, I promise,” I said with tears rolling in my eyes, 

I will help him and make him realise he’s not broken. He deserves to be happy and have a mate.
