Chapter 7

Hope’s Pov:- 

“Axel, you have to tell me,” I said looking at him, the fight between him and Blade is something very serious. They could seriously get injured if they went on.  

“I don’t want to talk about him,” he said turning away from me, 

“But why? What happened between you two?” I asked and pulled his arm, he sighed deeply while turning towards me. 

“I will tell you… but not now,” he said looking at me with sadness in his eyes this made me worry about him but I didn’t push him further and dropped the topic. 

“Okay!” I replied, nodding my head at him and he smiled in return. 

“Just remember... whatever it is you can tell me,” I smiled, he nodded his head at me. We sat there quietly while having our lunch. 

“Hey guys,” Lana pulled a chair beside and sat down, 

“Hey Lana,” Axel replied, 

“Where were you?” I asked, looking at her. 

“I was talking to Charlie,” she said, looking excited about it, which confused me. I glanced at Axel and was equally confused about it. 

“Won’t you guys ask what it's about?” she said looking at us in excitement. 

“Yeah tell us,” I replied, she moved closer to us, “Charlie is the new girlfriend of Dakota!” she whispered, “Who’s Charlie?” I asked, looking at her in confusion. Lana keeps forgetting that I just joined the college, she loves gossip and tells us every new thing happening in the college. 

“She’s not that important Hope, trust me,” Axel said in irritation, I glanced at Lana and saw her rolling her eyes. 

“He hates her,” she whispered and Axel heard it. He glared at her and Lana just rolled her eyes at him. I laughed at their behaviour while turning my face and my eyes caught Dakota walking into the cantine with Blade and the other two guys following him. 

He looked taller and very attractive among others and there was some kind of power radiating from him grabbing everyone’s attraction towards him. With his serious face, he walked towards the table placed near the window and sat on the chair which was directly facing me.

As he sat down his eyes met mine for a brief second before he looked away, “He’s too hot!” I heard Lana whisper. 

“Dakota!” I heard a high pitch voice coming from behind me, I didn’t bother to look back as I heard footsteps coming from behind. A tall blonde with a slim figure wearing too revealing clothes was walking up to him. 

Here we go! 

“That’s Charlie!” Lana whispered into my ear, 

“Oh!” I replied while looking at Charlie who was now sitting beside Dakota, I could see how desperate she was to get his attention, the way she pressed her huge breasts to his arm was stating her intentions. On the other hand, he was just ignoring her. As my eyes moved to him, our eyes connected, he stared at me blankly before I looked away.

“Alright class, everyone is dismissed,” Professor Owen ended his lecture and began packing his things. 

Everyone began packing their things as it was the last class, I sighed deeply since I had some work at the library. I need to work for my assignment and I have to take notes of my previous classes from Axel. If I do that at my home, I’m sure I can’t concentrate. 

I took my bag and began making my way towards the library, “Hey,” I heard Axle calling out for me.

I turned back and saw him walking to me, “Library?” he said while stopping in front of me. 

“Yes, I have to research a bit for my assignment,” I replied, 

“I have work too,” he grinned, we both walked to the library and sat at the table near a large bookshelf at the corner. 

Everything seems nice to me so far, I was warming up to everything here, college, friends and my new house but… that mystery guy keeps on popping in my head. Who was he? The one kissed me at the party? And the one I saw in the forest! Are they both the same? But they smelled the same. Is it all my mind tricking me or he did smell the same? Life can be confusing sometimes, I just hope I meet him someday. 

I liked my friends, in just a short time, Axel and Lana grew very close to me and they helped me with almost everything. I just wish our friendship lasts long. 

“I’ll be back,” I said while standing up from the chair and making my way out of the library and to the washroom. 

I pushed the door of the ladies washroom and stepped inside, as I walked towards the sink, sounds of moans and grunts hit my ear. My legs stopped automatically and I looked at the door where these moans were coming from. I quickly turned around but the sound of door opening and footsteps stopped me, 

“What are you doing here?” I heard the same high pitched voice which held irritation. 

“I-I” I stuttered, 

“Never mind,” she said, I turned to her and saw her fixing her makeup, as I stepped ahead, I saw Dakota stepping out of the washroom while fixing his pants which made me stop dead in my tracks. 

Shit! What should I do now, 

Stop standing there awkwardly Hope, my mind yelled at me. 

Charlie turned to him and kissed him on his lips, “That was awesome, we should do that more… don’t you think!” she whispered into his ears loud enough for me to hear. I looked away as they began kissing each other, What the hell! 

What am I doing here, oh god!

She pulled away and with a happy and satisfied smile she walked away shutting the door, I looked back and saw Dakota cleaning the lipstick marks off his face. I swallowed, I think I should just go back! I thought and walked towards the door. 

I grabbed the knob and pulled it, but to my horror the door got stuck, “s**t” I cursed under my breath. I tried to pull it open with my full strength but I couldn’t. As I was trying to open it I felt his body behind me, I quickly turned around and gasped as I saw how close he was. He looked down at me and stepped closer, I stepped back and my back hit the door making me gasp. 

He bent down and moved to my neck, I shut my eyes and felt him inhaling my scent. All of sudden he fisted the door and cursed under his breath making me flinch.

“D-Dakota?” I whispered in terror.
