Chapter 15

Hope’s Pov:-

We were driving in complete silence, I kept glancing at him but his eyes were fixed on the road. I tried to clear my throat but ended up doing some weird noises,

God! What’s wrong with me? Why is it so hard to talk to him, I took a deep breath.

Just tell him hope,

“Can you take me to my home?” I asked while staring at my hands which were on my lap. As he heard me, I could feel his eyes on me which made me tense up a bit.

“Why?” he questioned,

What the hell!

“What do you mean by why? I need to see my parents and tell them that I'm okay,” I asked with an annoyed face,

“You don’t have to do that!” He replied casually,

“What?” I was confused by his words.

“My father had them compelled, You don’t have to worry about them…” He said, “They believe that you are living in dorms,” He added.

Compelled?

“Going back to them can mess things up,” He said while taking a turn which leads to his house,

“But… I need my clothes!” I said,

“Blade will get your clothes,” He replied sternly,

So, there’s no way to go back home! Jesus…

He parked the car in the parking lot, I got out of the car and sighed deeply while looking at the modern mansion. I made my way towards the main door, Dakota was walking beside me quietly. As I entered the mansion, I saw Lilith sitting on the couch and talking to women sitting opposite her.

They were listening to her attentively, hearing our footsteps and everyone turned their head to us. I quickly lowered my head, I was never good with people staring at me,

Calm down, Hope. I said to myself as I kept walking towards the stairs.

“Hey mom,” Dakota walked towards his mother while I rushed upstairs, I reached Dakota’s room and opened the door. I quickly stepped inside and closed the door behind me, I took deep breaths while trying to control myself.

“Cool,” I mumbled while exhaling. I walked towards the bed and sat on it while placing the bag beside me. I glanced at the Dakota photo frame and sighed deeply.

“Why did I see you?” I mumbled,

The sound of the door opening made me stiff, “Get ready, We are moving to the packhouse,” Dakota said while walking towards me.

“Packhouse?” I asked with a confused expression on my face,

“That’s where pack members live together in one mansion,” he replied,

“Oh,” I replied,

“I’m gonna use Blade’s bathroom, You can use mine,” He said while placing his bag on the study table and

“Here… Mom gave you few clothes for you,” he said while placing a pair of clothes on his bed and walking towards his closet,

“Okay,” I replied, while I watched him taking his clothes from the closet.

As soon as he walked out and closed the door, I made my way to the bathroom.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror and my eyes went wide, ‘Wow,” I exclaimed, “Lilith does have a good choice,” I mumbled while turning back and looking at the reflection. It was a sleek black tiered off-the-shoulder dress that reached my thighs, it fitted my curves perfectly.

I had minimum makeup and combed my hair down, Dakota asked me to take my things with me while we move to the packhouse. As I began putting my things in my bag, I heard Blade’s voice, “Hope,”

I turned back, “Yes?” I replied,

“Oh wow, You look beautiful,” He complimented while walking inside the room,

“Thank you,” I replied, smiling at him.

“We’re leaving, Are you ready?” he asked,

“Yeah,” I said and turned around. I zipped the bag and threw it over my shoulder.

“Let’s go,” he said, I nodded my head and followed him.

As I climbed down the stairs, I noticed Dakota standing at the door with his mom and dad. Hearing our footsteps they turned their head to us, as his eyes landed on me, My breathing stopped and I tensed up.

He watched me like a hawk, his stare was intense and it made me feel bare in front of him. I gulped hard and tried to control myself.

"You look stunning dear," Lillith complimented with a smile on her face.

"Thank you for the dress, Lillith," I said,

"Don't thank me… that dress is for you dear," she said, placing her hand on my shoulder.

"Let's go," Sean said.

We were driving into the forest which seems to be far away from humans. We reached an area where few big bulky men were standing with their hands as if guiding some invisible wall.

As we crossed them, I noticed them bowing down to us. We reached an area where there was a huge mansion surrounded by few small houses.

As we drove towards the huge mansion, I noticed that it looked like a small town from here.

The car stopped in front of the mansion, Blade opened the door for me. I thanked him and got out of the car, I stared at the mansion with my mouth wide open.

It was beautiful, I'm sure more than 100 members can live in this mansion without any problems.

I followed them and climbed the few stairs in front of the mansion, it was a classic mansion. I entered it and walked to the huge, spacious living room. It has ceiling windows to its right side, couches, and sofa beside it, a huge dining table in front of the kitchen.

It looked royal from inside with those huge chandlers, furniture, sofas, dining table, those curtains, the floor was shining. It was so clean as if they paid their complete attention in cleaning them.

Oh god, I have been to a mansion this clean and beautiful before.

I looked around in pure amazement, I could feel the eyes on me but my eyes have their own brain and had completely ignored the people standing beside me.

"Beautiful," I whispered,

"It is," I heard sean's voice,

"My father built this mansion, Blade will show you around... you will love it," he said while smiling at me warmly.

"But before... You need to meet our people," Lillith said making me turn to her.

"Our pack members," She added, making the anxiety I had earlier rush back to me.
