My Bosses Lover

Lyela was your typical tom boy type girl, she worked in a male dominated industry, running an automotive repair shop. It definitely had its down sides, especially when you factor in her appearance. Lyela was 5 foot even on a good day, and had all the right curves on her petite frame. She was often told of how pretty she was, and thats putting it nicely. However she loved it, cars were her thing. She did it all at the shop, from book keeping to actually doing repairs, it was her dream. Six days a week she was at the shop, working closely with her boss, Mike, who happened be the owner of the shop as well. The last couple months they had been working even closer than before as slowly but surely employee quit. Mike had made the decision not to hire anyone else and do the repairs himself, with the help of Lyela of course. After all, she knew more than enough, even with a full staff of technicians, she was the one who had final say on what repairs were to be made, and frequently was the one to make repairs the technicians were unwilling or unable to make due to skill or even the size of their hands. With their busy season in full swing Mike and Lyela spent early mornings and late nights together just to keep up with the number of repairs flowing into the shop. Without fail Lyela would beat Mike in every morning. She would make the coffee and plan the day. Mike got used to this, spoiled even. She would see his old pick-up pull in from the office window and have his coffee ready on his desk in their shared office. Mike would come in and sit down, smiling when he saw his coffee, and make the same comment every morning. "Still swirling and steamy." With a big smile before he would take a sip and exclaim "the perfect cup of joe!" "Thank you! Good morning Mike." Lyela would reply almost automatically. "Whats on the books for today?" Mike asked. "We've got suspension work on a fusion, a serpentine belt on an equinox, a brake job, and two basic inspections." This was easily 10 hours worth of work to do that day. Mike quickly made the decision to start on the belt as the vehicle was already there and it should be the simplest repair. He popped the lid on his coffee cup and stood up. "Lyela could you hand me the keys to the equinox? Where is it parked? I'll get it pulled in and get started on it." Lyela handed him the keys from the hook 2 feet from him. She wasn't sure why he had gotten in the habit of having her hand him every key he touched, once he was done with the work he would never hang them back up either he would just hand them to her. "Its in spot 15, its gold." Mike had been the one to park it there, and had been the one to diagnose it, but she told him anyway.
