Getting To Know The New Kids (Pt. 1)

During school we had 5 classes with the new kids English, Math, Spanish, P.E., and Art, and let me tell you it was t*****e. All of those classes are normally annoying (except Spanish) but now with them in those classes it's awful. We had finally got done with school and we had put up our books and gotten our helmets. We were walking away from our lockers and I could feel someone staring at me but I didn't pay much attention to it, not like I could even think about it for long because yet again there's Tyler leaning on my bike.

"I thought we had discussed this yesterday. Don't EVER touch my bike" I yelled at him once again

"I thought you got the message yesterday, I don't listen to 'girls' " he said slowly getting off my bike and walking towards me. He also put emphasis on the word girls and that made me  very, very, very angry

I was just about to beat the s**t out of him when I hear a voice I don't recognize

"Leave her alone Tyler" I was shocked to see Isaac there beside me with the rest of his g**g and, defending me?

"And what are you gonna do about it if I don't" Tyler said back walking forward enough to where he's face to face with Isaac

"He's not going to anything about it if you don't, I will" I said back to him before giving Isaac a chance to respond

"Really? A girl? What are you gonna do punch me?" Tyler said to me and turned around to laugh with his friends.  

Big mistake I thought to myself before I turned him around, punched him in the face, and kneed him in the gut.

'That's what you get for messing with my bike asshole" I said to him aggressively and all of his friends backed off of mine and my teams bikes

I turned around to see Isaac and his g**g looking shocked and my team acting like everything was normal mainly because it was, whenever anyone messes with me or my team they usually end up on the ground in a matter of seconds. However we try not to do it unless we have too because we always end up in trouble from our parents.

"How the hell did you do that?" Isaac asked as me and my team walk to our bikes

I turn to my team to get their approval on weather to tell him or not and from their faces I can tell they don't want me to tell him, at least not now anyway 

"That's for me to know and you to find out" I said as a smirk crept across my face while I got on my bike 

"Nice bikes" one of Isaacs friends Mason I think says as we get on our bikes

All of our bikes were Harley's the only difference between them was the colors. My bike as you know is black and dark blue, Addie's bike is black and dark purple, Kevin's is black and dark red, and Matt's is black and dark green. Yep all dark colors, however it does come in handy.

"Thanks" Addie says for all of us

"Where are you guys going?" Isaac asks us when all of us are on our bikes

I again look at my team to get their approval on what to say and they all nod to say yes

"We're going to an abandoned warehouse" I say and Isaac, and Mason's faces go to a look of concern as they look at both me and Addie

"It's our hangout spot" Kev corrects me making the concerned looks on their faces go away quickly

Me and Addie quickly turn to give Kevin an annoyed look which he doesn't look surprised about. We don't tell anyone about the warehouse, it doesn't matter if we've known them for a week or a month the warehouse is OUR place. However Kevin gives all of us a look that makes me say something I didn't expect.

"You can come with us if you want, but no brightly colored vehicles" I make my statement sound strong as I look at Isaac but really I'm saying it to all 4 of them

He looks at his team quickly to get their approval like I do with mine

"Ok, we're in" he says calmly

"Cool. What are you guys driving?" I asked because as I said nothing brightly colored 

"We actually have Harley's too" he said and we all nodded in respect because a Harley is an amazing bike

They went to go get their bikes as we started ours and began to back out of the school parking lot. On the way there I took a small detour to go visit my sister. My team knew where I was going because every Tuesday I go visit my sisters grave. I noticed that Isaac had followed me when I left the group but I didn't care much. 5 minutes later I arrive at the graveyard and I can still see Isaac behind me. When I go through the gates I park my bike off the road and walk to her grave still completely aware that Isaac is watching me but for once I don't care. As I reach her grave I start talking

"Hey. I know you probably can't hear me but I need someone to talk to right now that can't make any comments" I run my fingers over the markings of the grave as I talk

"Mom is going to yell at me tonight. I beat up this one kid who wouldn't get off my bike. I also met this boy, he's actually watching me right now probably thinking I don't see him. But thanks to you I know better than that. I think I might like him, and I know I shouldn't but I do."

After that my phone buzzes and it's a text from Addie 

A- HEY I KNOW IT'S YOUR SISTER BUT THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE REMEMBER

L-HEY I'M SORRY I DIDN'T REALIZE I WAS GONE THAT LONG I'LL BE THERE IN 10

A-OK SEE U THEN

"Hey sorry I got to go, I'll come back next week." I said to the gravestone

My sister and all of my teams siblings died in a car crash, so on Mondays Addie comes to visit her sister, I come on Tuesdays, Matt comes on Wednesdays to visit his brother, and Kevin comes on Thursdays to visit his. 

As I was walking back to my bike I could see Isaac watching my every move.

"So you decided to stay did you" I said not knowing how else to start a conversation between us

"Yeah I guess I did. You could have told me to leave, why didn't you?" he asked and I could hear confusion in his voice

"To be honest, I don't know. I don't like it when people come here with me, it makes me feel...…I don't know awkward I guess" I say as I look down making sure that he heard the truth in my voice

"That still didn't answer my question Lexi" he said as he lifted my chin up to look at my eyes

"I don't know. I saw you follow me when I left the group and I didn't stop you because I felt safe with you watching me. I know that sounds weird, but it's the truth" I said still looking in his eyes

"It doesn't sound weird Lexi. It's normal to feel safe with a person even if you don't know all of who they are" when he said that it shocked me a little bit if I'm being honest. No one has ever cared that much about me except for my team. What he did next though I didn't expect at all...…….He kissed me.

The kiss was soft and passionate just like what you see in movies and read in books. When he pulled away I just looked at him for a while

"Why did you do that?" I asked wanting to know why

"Because I like you. Is there something wrong with that?" he said back and I could hear hurt in his tone

"We've known each other for a couple hours, how do you know if you like someone in a couple hours?" I say back just realizing now that he kissed me

"I don't know you just do" he said back and now you could see the hurt on his face

And then it hit me, I like him too. Oh my god, I like him. Before I could even realize what I was thinking he turned away thinking I wasn't going to kiss him back. I stopped him, his face looking at mine, and I kissed him back. And again just like in movies and books it was passionate and soft. Now it was his turn to ask

"Why did you do that?" 

"Because I realized I like you" I said a smile on my face as well as his

"I though you couldn't tell if you like someone in a couple hours" he said back his hands now on my waist and mine around his neck 

"Maybe you can" I said and kissed him yet again

I broke away from the kiss this time realizing that we had to get to the warehouse. He seemed to realize that too because he turned around to get on his bike. We left the cemetery on our bikes me in front to lead him there and before I knew it I had the best smile ever on my face.
