I woke up in a cell. I was still naked but that wasn't a big deal. I could still feel the pain of my loss. It was terrifying. I wished this was all a bad dream and dad would come to my room to wake me up, but that wasn't the case.
Suddenly, the cell door opens by itself. It was a one-way hall and that didn't give me options at all. Getting closer, I could hear a crowd. I must be insane, that's what I thought, but there was actually a crowd. The light got me blind for seconds, but soon I could see everything clearly. I was in the Arena because of its appearance. I couldn't see familiar faces due to the bright light.
The ring is pretty scary for a normal wolf. Once in, you can't escape. There's a silver fence to protect the crowd from the ones in the ring and the only way out must be in one of the remaining doors that leads to the ring. I only saw shewolves in the ring. By their looks, they must be Alphas and Betas.
Any other day I would have enjoyed this, but right now I'm looking for a way out. There was just one door that didn't open to bring a fighter, so that must be the way out. The only problem is, how am I going to get through? These girls already know that one of us must stay on her damn feet but they look at each other like they are ready to kill.
Suddenly, the crowd stopped talking. Some authority asshole got in. I watched this man every movement 'till he sat in his chair. He looked at me straight in the eye. He was the host of this damn activity.
"Ladies and gentlemen", someone started saying, but I didn't give a damn. I was still looking straight at the host. If I get out of here, I'll kill him for sure.
"Eden, that man", I pointed out.
"Yes, he's dangerous and I must kill him", said Eden, and her bloodthirst was enough to make Rylee want to kill him.
"Let's take him down", said Rylee.
They started to shift in their place and the only one left was me. Still naked and without covering my body, I stood there. The crowd started to say "shift!" but they could suck my d**k. My eyes never leave the host's eyes. Then, with his nod, the fight began. I sprinted to the exit gate, which was opposite me. A shewolf tried to bite me but I slid and dodged her. Once I was in front of the gate, I realized I couldn't touch it. It was made of silver.
"This can't be", I whispered to myself. I turned around to see that three of them wanted to take me down. Guess I have no other option but to shift. I shifted in front of them and I could see the fear in their eyes. I looked at the silver fence and noticed that it was almost broken on one side. That was my last chance of escaping. One of the shewolves snarled at me and that was enough provocation for me and my wolves. With a growl, I managed to make them stay in their place and run to the broken part of the fence. Once there, I could feel all the eyes on me. I jumped at the fence and, even if it was burning my skin, I made my way out with my snout. The crowd started running and screaming at my sight. I was finally out of the ring and instantly locked eyes with the host. He had a smirk that I was willing to take down.
They started to shoot me with silver bullets, but that didn't stop me from taking that asshole down. He shifted into a gray wolf and ran towards me. Our bodies collided and we started to take flesh from each other. After a few bites, I got the chance to bite his neck and I did. I thought the fight was going to be harder but it wasn't. They were still shooting me, but now with wolfsbane. I snarled at them and ran after them. I took four of them down but then I couldn't move anymore and fell again into darkness.
A water cube woke me up. I was tied up to a chair with wolfsbane in my veins. My vision was blurry and I was really hungry.
"Did you enjoy your sleep?", someone asked.
I laughed at him.
"Very much", I said with a smirk.
He slapped me but, due to the wolfsbane, I could barely feel it.
"You b***h! You killed my friends!", he screamed at me.
"If they are dead, it must be for a reason", I said nonchalantly.
"You-", he was about to slap me again.
"That's enough", said another one with authority in his voice.
I smirked at them.
"Hello, Alpha", I said to the new one. He was indeed an Alpha.
"Are you sure she was the one who killed Nathan?", he asked the one who was hitting me.
"Yes", he replied with terror in his voice.
"She doesn't seem like someone dangerous", the Alpha said.
"But she is", one of them said.
"No, I'm not. Now let me get out of here", I said, and all the eyes were looking at me.
"Why would I let you go? You killed my son", he asked.
Shit. Here we go.
"Apparently he was not strong enough to protect himself. How was he going to protect your pack?", I replied in a challenging tone.
His eyes turned pitch black and that was interesting.
"Tell me why should I let you live?", he said, still in his place.
"You have no reasons", I replied, as if I was going to fall off the edge. "But you also have no reasons to kill me. You already knew it was a matter of time that your son was about to get killed", I told him, looking at nothing in particular. After some seconds, I looked him straight in the eye.
Suddenly, a group of men broke in.
"She's mine", said one of them.
The Alpha in front of me smirked at the sight of this new group.
"So you want her for your pack, Phillip?", he asked.
"She killed your son in the easiest way, so there's no need for you to lose your other son", Phillip replied, smirking.
"Is that a challenge?", he growled.
"Maybe", he said in a challenging tone.
"Oh for f***s sake! Can you two start fighting? My arms are getting a little numb and I want to know whose side I will be,", I said, and everyone looked at me like I was crazy. I guess I said that too loud for my own good.
