Chapter Thirteen: The aftermath of the bravery. My eyes went wide, matching his before he reacted quickly and stopped what he was doing. His belt was caught in both his hands and rebuckled before I even had a chance to get over the initial fascination of having caught him. Does he literally not realise I was enjoying that? I got up, standing on my feet before I walked into the bathroom. My stumbly walk accessorized with a strut as I approached him where he stood by a wall mounted bathtub. "Don't stop on my accord!" I pulled out the seductive voice I had been saving up for a moment exactly like this one as I ran my hands up his back. "You know, we can do more than that if you just-" I started but was quickly cut off as he grabbed my hands in a hold firm, stopping them as they neared his chest from behind. "Where do you get the nerve to sneak up on me?" Holding on to my wrist with one hand, he turned around and my eyes met his enraged face. He glared down at me with such an intimidating stare, I swear I felt the alcohol leave my body in that minute. Well now I was f****d, now without the aid of my lack of soberness, I was suddenly aware of who it was I was actually talking to. Who it was I had just basically thrown myself unto. "Alpha Martin, please!" I tried to plead but that only made his stare grow darker. Fearing for my god forsaken life, I began taking steps back, retreating from him and all the mess I had created. Here I was thinking I would not regret everything I did tonight. I should have known that with Martin, there is always an exception. Always something to make me question all I thought I knew about myself. "Listen to me very carefully," he closed the distance I constantly kept creating till I was pinnned to a wall and his heaving chest and furious face was all I could focus on. "Don't you think for one second that everything you did today is going to go without punishment. It is becoming more apparent that you have no idea who it is you are dealing with when you do your stupid little stunts." His hand finally let go of mine and I whimpered from the sudden movement. "Not only did you have the nerve to enter my house uninvited, you felt the need to do it in a state of intoxication? Utterly embarrassing!" He spat out before twisting his face into a grimace. His gorgeous face that I still found devilishly attractive and seductive. I should not be finding any pleasure in him basically degrading me with his words but this, right here was a blessing as far as my crazy hormones were concerned. This was as close to me as he had willingly put himself, shoot me for being slightly turned on by the situation. "Forgive me, Alph-" I began but as expected was not allowed to finish my piece. "I need you out of this house right now!" He demanded with his deep voice. "Follow me." He continued and I obliged, getting led back into the bedroom. He grabbed my shoes from near the bed and held them close to me before I took the signal and grabbed them. What on earth was actually happening? I had really outdone myself this time. "I will walk you out." His voice was more calm and held less of a threatening tone as he spoke. At this point I knew asking that I be allowed to wear my shoes would be pushing it and definitely the last thing he wants to hear. Without retorts, I walked silently all the way to the front door, where it all began. Wow! Who knew the confident, take no bullshit, ready for anything Kacey would have evaporated into thin smoke by the time I left this house. Martin did not hesitate to close the door on my face, leaving me all alone by his front door. My parents were definitely home at this point, I could only hope that they, by some miracle missed the fact that the car had vacated the garage. Some miracle indeed because that was highly not the chance. I was overwhelmed by too many emotions to even know what step to take next. All I felt like doing was shifting and running into the woods till I knew what the f**k I was doing with my life. I quickly thought back to my harsh words towards Molly at the party. I needed to be drunk less often, as a matter of fact, I needed to f*****g quit because that was just unnecessary. I bent over and put my shoes on before looking around me for my red SUV. Wait...there is no way my parents saw it parked at Martin's house and took it upon themselves to take it back home right? I ended my fitile search in Martin's yard and walked down the street to continue my hunt. My eyes met the angry face of my neighbor, Mrs Haighes, her finger pointing at me as I walked towards her. "There she is, this stupid little girl!" The raggedy, old woman who had most likely seen better days yelled with her head turned to her back. My car got out of obscurity the more I neared and it suddenly dawned on me, I had f*****g crashed it on my way here! My eyes went wide and the urge to run ate at my still legs. I was about to take off into the unknown and avoid this current problem, ignore all my worries for a day or two...or weeks even, when my father emerged from behind the car, my mother following hastily behind him. Well s**t! That was it for me! My hand flew to my forehead, slapping it hard before resting entirely over my face to cover it. "Kacey!" My mom yelled out with anger and I swear that I would literally rather be anywhere, doing anything than to deal with all I knew she had to say.
