MR. STRAIGHT-LACE TAKES A TRIPIntroduction Time now for a side trip down a very strange memory lane. Back in the mid-1980s, I worked with a creative collective on a local small press project in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The book, Flood City Comics, ran five issues before dying—but the sixth issue was already in production when the book folded. One of the scripts from that unfinished sixth issue was this one, a sequel to a weird little two-page story of mine from the fourth issue of Flood City Comics. That original story was pretty surreal, to say the least, and the follow-up came out much the same. Here's an image of Mr. Straight-Lace from the first story, as illustrated by the one and only Scott Hawk: Does this script haunt my dreams and cry out for new life like some of the others
