SOLITARYIntroduction
Did I have super-powered mobsters on the brain for a while? Apparently! Around the time I wrote Made Guys, I also whipped up a self-contained short script titled "The Cold Shoulder," a story about a super-mobster on a rampage in the small town where he is imprisoned...and ignored. That script went through two very different drafts, one of which appeared in 7 More Comic Book Scripts. The second version appears right here as "Solitary," and here's why it's interesting: various elements, from events to characters, can also be found in draft one of "The Cold Shoulder" and another super-mobster script of mine, "The Super Hitman's Secret Power," which you can also find in 7 More Comic Book Scripts.
