Valerie’s POV
After enjoying our wedding night, we couldn’t leave on our honeymoon right away. We still had a meeting with the other royals which was important. I decided to speak to them, then take the time while on honeymoon to decide and give the council my decision when I returned.
The meeting was incredibly informative as they all gave me their opinions on letting new people into the packs and kingdoms. However, it got heated between two of the kings when transfers of pack members were discussed. I can understand why. Losing one member to their mate was acceptable, but losing a bunch of members to another kingdom weakened your pack. The question of the moment was whether you still wanted members to stay with your pack if they didn’t want to be there?
