Are We Getting Married?

PROLOGUE I sat silently in my seat in our room. It was only the first day of class, but I didn't know anyone. I was a transfer student and we had just moved to our new home. Many of my classmates had already arrived, but none of them paid any attention to me, and I didn't bother to notice them either. I was just sitting at the back. Our teacher started discussing in front when suddenly the door burst open loudly, and a guy with messy hair entered while eating a lollipop. I couldn't do anything, so I just sat down. "What's your name kid? Will you please learn some manners? You're late to school and you didn't even greet me or any of your classmates." Our teacher said to him. "Oh, sorry? Do I have to do that? I don't think so, it's up to me if I want to greet everyone good morning. And by the way, I'm not a kid." "Today's youth, no respect for elders." Our teacher said, shaking her head, then continued the lesson. "Tsk. Old woman. I don't need to respect everyone so they will also respect me, I don't need to be fake." I heard the guy next to me say, so instead of talking to him, I just kept quiet and moved a little away from him. I wasn't comfortable with guys. "You're avoiding me like I have a disease." I turned to the guy next to me, who had raised an eyebrow. He then moved his chair closer to me. "W-what are you doing?" "What else? I'm getting closer to you, are you blind?" Confirmed. I really hate guys, I don't like him, he's so rude. So I just ignored him and listened to our teacher. I was walking to our school when a car suddenly stopped beside me. I ignored it and continued walking, but it honked, so I stopped and faced the car. I was surprised to see Kheo Haze inside the car, smiling at me. He was the guy who sat next to me in the room, and I found out his name because he introduced himself yesterday, but he didn't know my name because I didn't tell him. Why? Is that even necessary? "Hi doll, wanna ride with my car?" He said with a smile. What the h€ll? Doll? Where did he get that name? My name is Kelzy, how come it became a doll?! "No thanks, your car is nice and expensive, I can't afford the fare." I said with a wry smile. Actually, I could afford that car, we even have a car, but I don't use it. I don't want to ride to school, it's a hassle, and I don't know how to drive. It would be embarrassing for our driver if he just picked me up and dropped me off. Besides, I don't want to be in the same car with this guy. "Oh come on! Don't lie to me. I know you can afford hundreds of cars. Your father told me to give you a ride and we shouldn't go to school, we'll go straight to your house. I know your parents, honey." I suddenly stopped at what he said. What?! How come he knows my parents?! "Come on, hop in! You're coming with me because your dad is busy and has a meeting, and we should be there. "WHAT?! And what is that?!" "Oh, my daughter is here, come on sweetie meet your tito Gino and your tita Selina. Gino, Selina, this is my one and only daughter, Kelzy." My dad introduced me to Kheo's parents. I just shook hands with them and smiled, but I suddenly felt cold when Tita Selina said, "Nice to meet you, Iha, you can just call me mommy since you're getting married to my son." Tita Selina's words echoed in my ears repeatedly, did she just say... we're getting married? And why is that? "Yeah, Iha, I forgot to tell you this earlier." Dad agreed with Tita. "Hay nako, Khenzo, we really need to have our grandchildren because we're getting old, you see, you forgot to tell your son. Well, Kheo is a good man, and I'm sure he can take good care of your daughter, Khenzo." "That's right! I can't wait to see our grandchildren." Mom chimed in, even my mom agreed with this? How come? "I'm not going to accept that kind of arranged marriage! Seriously, mom, dad?! I thought you already know that I have a girlfriend?! And why are you doing this to me?!" "Listen, Kheo! I won't allow you to date those women! She's not perfect for you! Kelzy is a better girl who can take care of you!"Our house was filled with the shouts of Tito and Kheo, and I was just confused. Seriously? I didn't ask to marry someone I don't love. I didn't ask to ruin someone else's relationship. Kheo already has a girlfriend, and yet they're going to marry us? That's not right. "I'm not going to accept that f*****g arranged marriage, never!" "Kheo! Come back here! How could you say that to us?! You're going to marry Kelzy no matter what!" Tito shouted at Kheo, who drove off in his car. "I'm sorry about my son, Iha, Khenzo and Catherine, we'll find a way to start the engagement soon." I turned to Tita when she spoke. Why do they want us to get married so much when Kheo already has a girlfriend? Just because they want grandchildren? Seriously? I still have dreams in life. "I'm also sorry to say this, but I'm also not going to marry Kheo, I don't love him. Besides, he already has a girlfriend. Please dad, mom, tito, tita, respect our decision." "The marriage is final.
