DUE'S POV "Hmm..." I groaned in pain as my hands tightened around my stomach. My eyes turned dizzy in the next second, and I staggered. "Aria..." I called out to my step-sister who looked at me, with a smirk on my face. I didn't know what was happening to me as I started to feel really hot. "Stay right here, I'll be back!" Aria said suddenly and then turned around. Everything happened in a flash but then I couldn't hold on anymore. It was like I was in pain and at the same time, I was hungry for something. "Ahh..." I let out another groan and immediately, I dashed away from everyone. I didn't need them to start looking at me like I was crazy. We were in the Alpha's mansion and I didn't want to be disgraced. However, as I walked away from everyone, down the hallway, the pain mixed with unexplained hunger for something unknown in my body, intensified. "f**k!" I cussed as my hands clawed the wall to keep me steady. My legs shook and I couldn't hold on anymore. In the next second, I spotted a door on the right and dizzily, I got into the room. For a few seconds, it was silent but then I made out the figure of a man, one of the most beautiful I had ever seen. "Who are you doing here?" Those words resonated through the air as I came face to face with one of the most handsome men I had ever seen. Even in my dizzy state, I couldn't deny the immense attraction I felt toward him. "You..." I said, shakily as my knees turned weak and I fell to the ground but my eyes were still on him. I could feel my heart racing and my wolf whining in my head. The intense emotions I felt weren't to be quantified and it was nothing like I had ever felt before. "Mate..." I said and he said so, as well. I gasped in shock at the blessing the Moon Goddess had bestowed upon me. The Alpha turned out to be my mate. What was every girl's dream turned out to be mine, alone... Immediately, I rushed toward him as I tried to suppress the pain in my body. As soon as I placed my hands on his legs, I shivered. Sparks flew and before I knew it, I was clinging onto Fenrir. "Due, what are you doing?" Fenrir asked, with a frown on his face but that wasn't what I wanted to hear. "You are my mate and I want you..." I said, shakily and I gasped, in shock at my words. I would never say that on a normal day but then I had hunger. Hunger for something I knew that only Fenrir could quench. "You are so hot. What did you do?" He asked but I was having none of that. I did not care how I was going to seem at this point. I just wanted to have him all to myself. "Take me, Fenrir. Please..." I pleaded, with a low tone. Deep within me, I felt like I was going to die if I didn't get what I wanted. I knew I would regret my decision but then I couldn't get over the feeling in my body. "You have been drugged..." He started to say but I was quick to cut him off with a kiss. If he didn't want to make the move, then I would. He was my mate after all and I would give my all to him. On the other hand, Fenrir couldn't resist my kiss or my body. Before long, he kissed me back, so intensely and I melted in his arms. "Take me, Fenrir," I whispered in his ears with a sensual tone. His fingers dug into my waist so much, I groaned in pain mixed with pleasure. While clinging onto him, he led me toward the bed and before long, we were entangled in the sheets. ___ "Ahhhh!" I heard a scream and immediately, I jolted up from sleep, naked. My eyes were a bit groggy at first but they cleared up in an instant as I saw Aria before me. I was quick to drag the sheets up my body while my head whipped to the side to see Fenrir, sleeping peacefully. He was naked under the sheets but only his chest could be seen. "What have you done, Due?" Aria yelled at me, in anger as her body shook but I was a bit disoriented by the whole thing. My heart beat rapidly at the reality of being caught in the act. "We looked for you all night but then you have only been in bed, giving yourself away, huh?" Aria continued to ask, angrily. With every word she said, I was getting more confused and I couldn't even explain myself. "I.. I... Please, it's not what you think..." I let out, shakily. I wanted to tell her that it was not my fault and that everything that happened last night wasn't planned. The fact that I found out that Alpha Fenrir was my mate was also a huge part of last night. However, before I could start to explain myself, several other people walked into the bedroom while Aria stood aside. At the same time, Fenrir slowly sat up on the bed while he looked shocked to see me beside him. "What did you do, Due?" My father who had come in alongside my family members and also Fenrir's family looked on in surprise and shock. "Please, father. I can explain..." I pleaded as my eyes slowly turned teary. I couldn't even stand because I was naked beneath the sheets. On the other hand, Fenrir looked on in anger and I couldn't even decipher what was in his head. We were two adults who were in it together but it seemed like I was all alone. "What did you do, Due? How the f**k did you end up here?" He thundered and I flinched in shock. I looked at him with wide eyes, knowing both of us had consented to what we had last night. I could feel his emanating hatred toward me and I could hear my heart breaking into pieces. "You are asking her what she did to you? My daughter was found in bed with you and you have to take responsibility!" My father thundered and Fenrir frowned, in anger. "No, I cannot marry her!" He replied, almost immediately and my head snapped to look at him. "Why?" I asked, shakily. "You are my mate and we belong together," I said, as I looked up at him for answers. Why would he not marry me after the intense night we had together? "You are not..." He started to say but Fenrir's father, the former Alpha, cut him off. "You have to marry her, Fenrir! Take responsibility for your actions! She is your mate, after all." Fenrir's father said, with a frown on his face. He was obviously displeased with what was going on but then he would not allow the Alpha's family image to be tarnished. "But, Father..." Fenrir tried to go against his father but he was cut off abruptly. "That is my decision!" His father declared with a thunderous tone and everyone shook, in fear. At this point, he did not dare to go against his father, in any way. In the next second, I watched as they all marched out of the bedroom, leaving Fenrir and me naked in bed. "Fenrir..." I called out, slowly hoping he would look at me, with love. "You have no right to call me by my name, you slut!" He yelled back at me, and I flinched. He looked at me with so much anger and hatred and I felt so much pain in my heart that I couldn't breathe. His words cut through my heart like a sharp blade but then I continued to crave for his love. Slowly, I crawled on that bed to meet him but he was quick to turn away, rudely. As I watched Fenrir walk away, I never knew that my life had taken a whole new turn. __ On the day of the wedding, I was dressed in a white dress while I walked up to Fenrir. I was all smiles as I realized that I would begin a new life with the man I had come to love. Ever since the day we slept together, it had been two weeks and now, I was finally getting married to him. "Can you walk faster?" Fenrir suddenly yelled from the Pack's altar and I froze for a minute. His words sounded rude and I shook. The Pack members that were gathered, looked at me with wide eyes. As I saw the livid look in Fenrir's eyes, I rushed up to the altar, so I wouldn't keep him waiting. We were supposed to take our vows before anything else but before anything could happen, he took up the ring and directly pushed it into my finger. "You wanted to get married, so desperately, right? Well, this is it." He said and I was dumbfounded. I never expected such an outcome or scene. "What are you..." I started to say but before I knew it, he took up the second ring and wore it. "Now, we are married! I do not want to see you an inch closer to me! You are nothing to me!" He yelled and the whole place went quiet. Swiftly, he pushed past me and walked away from the altar and our wedding ceremony. As the voices and mocking laughter of the Pack members raised and flowed into my ears, I realized I was doomed. "What have I done?" I asked shakily as I fell to my knees, in pain. My heart was wrenched and tears flowed down my eyes, uncontrollably.
