Her Voice

chapter 3

Mike and i got ready to sneak out of the house to go to the forbidden lake , my mother always told me stories about that lake , it was called the lake of lovers because it was believed that it bought two lovers together ... But after the death of Queen Martha and King Joe of Karee the lake was then called the forbidden lake because it is believed that it swallowed the Queen and king because their bodies where never found ....  I Believe that there is more to the story because a lake that swallowed 2  grown people a sounds highly impossible  if you ask me.. my thoughts were disturbed by Mike's awful attempt of a whistle and i couldnt  help but smile ... Mike was always the  competitive kind but i would always  beat him at everything, at first he would get angry but now he has made peace with it..

i used the secret passage to the garden so that no one sees us ,  i found Mike waiting for me with two horses because we cant take a car to the lake since it is like inside a cave ... the ride to the lake is like one hour , we went inside the cave and saw the most beautiful mountain pool lake ever , the water was crystal blue and the cave  was so bright and blue you would think that we are under the sea ... i could see the look i Mike's faced and i could tell he was happy we came here.... we started swimming and after two hours i was so tired i couldnt swim anymore.. i was busy staring at the beautiful waterfall when a saw a shadow behind the water .... it was a person but no one was allowed here 'look whose talking and where she is' my brain fought back defending the shadow behind the waterfall ... I     wanted to shout anmd ask whose there but nothing came out .... whoever  was behind that waterfall was looking directly at me  as if mesmerizing every  inch of my body ... i could feel that my cheeks were heating up so i looked down for 6 seconds and when i looked up the shadow was gone  ...

on our way home i couldnt stop thinking about the shadow and how it made me feel like a woman in just looking at me and at such a distance... i was awoken from my thoughts by Mike who looked concerned but i just pointed at my stomach to show that i am just hungry and he nodded in return and showed me the view of the castle which meant that we are almost there ...

we arrived at the castle and went straight to our rooms to freshen up so people  dont see out wet clothing and put two and two together.. after taking a shower i found a dress and a note that's saying Carl  and his brother king Kaiden are coming for dinner tonight.. The dress was a back strapless dress which was long , simple and elegent exactly how i like my dresses .. But i had so many questions in mind that why are they coming here all of a sudden because they were suppose to come next week .. i quickly ran to Daniah because i knew that she would be freaking out and confusing the entire castle  ... when i wentetred here room it was amess and she was orderingt people around , when she is confused she gets bitchy and  bossy .... the moment she saw me she ran and hugged me and i happily returned the hug ... i started doing her make up while the maids were cleaning up the mess ,.... after 30 minutes i was done with everything  and she looked like a real princess and i couldnt be more proud....
