She was in shock at the news Sawyer had been labelled a person of interest. It’s not that she hadn’t expected it – she had just assumed they would have more time before it happened.
“What are you going to do?”
“I have to get to the station in the next hour so they can interview me. If we are lucky the head of the taskforce will be there, either to interview me herself or behind a two-way mirror. You know more about these things than I do, what do you think the odds of that are?”
“I suppose it depends on whether she really does have some information about who is behind this. If it’s a bluff she will be desperate to watch. If she knows anything about who did this, she will know it isn’t you and she might not be there.”
