“Why don’t you go up, and I’ll make us something to drink? I’ll probably just get in the way while you’re working up there.” “Alright, I guess you don’t know where everything I want to bring is,” she went up to her room, dragging an old luggage case out of the wardrobe and starting to fill it with as many clothes as possible. For some reason going through her clothes that way made things more final than the books and things downstairs – she’d only really needed a couple of those things, the rest of it could just stay in the apartment.
