They got dressed and went down to the reception – it was a guy working there this morning, and he didn’t seem to even register they were there until Elizabeth caught his attention to ask if there was a pharmacy close by.
“We have feminine hygiene products in our store here,” he sounded bored.
Sawyer lifted his shirt and said nothing. The guy looked wide-eyed for a second and then stuttered an apology and gave rough directions, assuring them it was only five minutes away.
They laughed about it, but not until they had left him feeling suitably sheepish first.
As they walked to the store, Elizabeth told Sawyer about the call she had received from the police, and they decided they would get new clothes and get him sorted out a little before heading down there.
