The Old World: Undeath

Here I say have u looked out your window lately? the night belong to the demons that dwell in it, gouls prowl the graves eating the flesh of the dead to stave off their unsaitble hunger, Plagues ran rampant turning its victims into blood crazed lunatics sparing no one,vampiric beasts feeding on the blood of helpless victims and the countless witch hunts carried out by ignorant pesants bunring those who they claimed are devil worshippers. They turn a blind eye to all the horrors and atrocities they commit claiming that it was all in the name of survival, the gods you prayed to was supposed to protect and guide you through these dark times, they all abandoned you leaving you to starve alone to die alone. The royals and nobles sit in their polished mansions baring themselves off from the outside world having parties and balls not caring about who lives or dies. Vicious creatures hunt wandering children and travelers alike no one is safe. Every night a new beast appear to wreak havoc on your lands and who do you call to oppose them? Do you take up arms yourselvs and face the beasts with your courage? No you dropped it on someone else shoulders the French Inquisitors the scholars who study the creatures in the name of science endangering innocents for their countless experiments, the beast hunters of St George the religious fanatics who burn entire towns and villages as a way of containing the problem . All of them they're all men who slay the creatures for coin, who only care if you have enough money to cover their expenses, hmph you're better off hunting the beasts yourself and whose to say you'll survive. There is no light my child ,darkness claim these lands now and even I think to myself "is this world really worth saving?"
