Cat drove over to Ryder’s apartment with a knot in her stomach. She hadn’t met a guy’s parents since high school. It was sweet and scary all at the same time. Plus, she would be with Ryder and Kylie which added another level of scary to it.
Cat had gotten to know Kylie a bit from being at Lizzy’s house. Kylie told Ryder she wanted Cat to go to Niagara Falls to visit her grandparents and Cat knew she couldn’t say no.
At the apartment complex, Cat found a spot in the visitor parking and walked to Ryder’s building. She climbed the steps to his second floor unit and knocked on the door. After a moment Kylie opened the door. “Hi, Kylie,” Cat said.
