“You’re beautiful, Catherine,” Susan said, looking at her daughter. Her eyes misted and she dabbed at them with a tissue.
“Thanks, Mom. I guess being in love makes you look better,” Cat teased.

“Thanks. Is everything set up and ready?”
“Yes, but you’re not allowed to worry about all that. This is your day to enjoy. You didn’t get to spend a year obsessing over every little detail, but that just means there’s less for you to get upset about. All that matters is you’re here and so is Ryder.”
