There Is No Solution Part 2 Rain poured heavily as Nathen walked alone through the empty streets. His soaked clothes clung to him, and the cold air burned against his skin, but none of it hurt as much as Eva’s words. “I don’t love you, Nathen! I love Marco!” Her voice repeated endlessly inside his mind. He stopped near the road, lowering his head while rain covered his face like tears he refused to show. For years, he stayed beside her. For years, he loved her quietly while she chased someone who never cared about her the way he did. And in the end… She threw coffee at him like his feelings meant nothing. Nathen laughed bitterly to himself. Maybe loving her was his biggest mistake. Suddenly, bright headlights flashed toward him. SCREEECH! A speeding car lost control on the wet road. Nathen looked up too late. The crash echoed through the street. His body slammed against the ground violently. At that exact moment, Eva turned around from the other side of the street and saw him falling onto the pavement. Her eyes widened in shock. “Nathen…?” People nearby screamed and rushed toward him, but Eva stayed frozen. Nathen coughed painfully, blood staining the rain beneath him. His blurry eyes searched for Eva one last time. Even now… he still looked at her. Eva took one small step forward, trembling. But Nathen smiled weakly. Not lovingly this time. Sadly. “If I could have another life…” he whispered painfully, “…I would hate you as much as I can.” Then his eyes slowly closed. Darkness swallowed everything. … Nathen suddenly gasped awake. His breathing became uneven as he looked around in confusion. His room. His old room. The clock beside him showed a date from two years ago. “What…?” He quickly stood up and stared at his reflection in the mirror. No injuries. No blood. Only his younger self staring back. Then memories crashed into him all at once. The rain. The accident. Eva. His expression slowly darkened. “…I came back.” This time, things would be different. No more loving Eva. No more sacrificing himself for her. Because Nathen wasn’t the weak boy she remembered. He was the hidden heir of the most dangerous mafia organization in the city. And now… He wanted revenge. The next morning at school, Eva smiled brightly while talking to Marco in the hallway, completely unaware of what was coming. Then suddenly— The entire hallway fell silent. Heavy footsteps echoed closer. Eva turned around slowly. Her heart stopped instantly. Nathen stood there wearing a black uniform jacket, his cold eyes completely empty of warmth. But the most terrifying part— Several dangerous-looking men stood behind him respectfully. And one of them lowered his head before saying, “Boss, the car is ready.” Eva stared at Nathen in shock. Because the boy who once loved her… Looked at her now like she was nothing. **To Be Continued…**
