My Lifeline

A long time ago, with an unknown year, an unknown era, and an unknown world. Someone's first life started as a young girl with long black hair living in a strange forest with her father and mother. The forest is full of mystery that doesn't belong to the current world. Dangerous creatures wandering around. Humans do not have the capacity to conquer forests. Monsters are taller than trees, and birds fly bigger than a plane. Trees that are strange enough to be afraid of. In the said world, humans from forest tribes only exist; no futuristic materials can be found. Weapons are made of wood and stone, create fire through two stones hitting each other. A life of old civilization, yet, they don't hunt, instead they get hunted by the nature of the forest. The said young girl (around 7 years of age) lives with her family with a small number of folk residing above trees. As for their daily life, repeatedly, they pick fruits, vegetables, and herbs in the morning for the food supply. Avoiding the danger of the forest. History of Folkman, half of their people lose their lives to the beast of the forest. Yet, they're trying and trying to adopt the life of being hunted. ROOOAAARRR At night, a loud noise from the beast echoes throughout the forest. Panic arises from folk. "Hurry! Up to your houses. We must take shelter!" the tribe leader commands everyone. Everyone rushed to their houses above the trees. "Papa, what happened?" the young girl asked her father. "Come, we must do the same, my little one. We need to hide from the beast of land. " then the father held his daughter's hand. RROOAARR!! This time, louder and more dangerous noises were heard. Came across the forest, from the sky to land. Panic arises more and more, children start crying louder and louder. Blast Loud noises and impacts from the beasts of the land appear on the tribe's land. "KYYAAAAAA" Giant beasts start eating people, crying, shouting, and voicing in pain. Many beasts started to approach everyone. Even the houses in trees started to fall because of the impact caused by the beast. The beast of the sky is starting to destroy houses that are still on top. "P-papa." the poor young girl started to cry. The tribe leader held his daughter's hand and rushed out running, leaving everyone. " Why are we running? W-we need to help them! Pa" Running through the forest trying to escape. " Pa! " *sob* sob* The girl strongly pushed her father's hands away. " Pa! W-why? They are our family and friends. Why are we leaving them?! " *sob* " I can't. " " Y-you can!*sob * You are the leader Pa, but why are we running! " " I CAN'T! " the father shouted " What do you want me to do, ha?! Go back there and let you die on me? " the sadness, the pain, the guilt, and the agony. The daughter saw all of those emotions in his father's eyes. She can't do anything anymore but cry full of sorrow. Covering her eyes while crying. "Urgh! - ugh.. huh... aaahhh" a moan and a noise that was full of sadness and pain could be heard in her father's voice. The girl, little by little, removed her hands from her face. Her eyes widened more than they were supposed to. Her voice c***k. Tears fell more like a stream of river water onto her eyes. Blood flows through her father's chest, like a waterfall. A giant claw pierced her father's chest. The tribe leader, also her father-- fights back the beast's claw on his chest, yet, he is powerless compared to the giant beast. The beast started to overpower him and little by little his feet were lifted from the ground. She was stoned in fear, and cannot move even an inch. Her face turns pale as if blood leaves her body. Chills flowed over her body, cold sweat broke out. Running out of breath, watching her father being lifted, she couldn't do anything, a young body that was not even capable of hitting an ant. Is there anything she can do? No, absolutely nothing, she only has a fragile body and can be broken even with a little hit from beasts, a fragile mental state that can be broken by a little fear. *sob* Her body started to shake unstoppably. Looking at her father slowly losing his life. Thinking about what she could possibly do, but, no answer could be found in her mind. "Pa... What should I do?*sob* " continuously crying from fear. "Pa, wha--" her father interrupted her and shouted out of life, "RUN!!!! YOU MUST LIVE, MY LITTLE ONE!" a massive amount of blood and tears flowed all over his father, coughing blood and trying to smile brightly to make his daughter have courage. " But P--" "RUN!" *GROWL* A loud roaring sound from the beast pierced the tribe leader. Causes more fatigue and fear, The young girl starts running out of life, full of tears covering her eyes. Simobilize the pain she feels. "You must survive and live, *coughing blood* my wish is for you to be happy. If not now, someday, the pain you feel will disappear. I lov-" Those last words didn't finish, a father and also a tribe leader. RRROOOAAARRR His life ended. The beast turns away, leaving no sign of a body. A life ended tragically, and noises all over started to fade. As if, no humanity left. The sound of crying that is full of pain and suffering is now gone as if it does not exist. The young girl running, and running, and running, and running. Circling around the forest, no direction to follow. Sobbing and crying, tears won't stop. The pain won't disappear, despair lingers, and fatigue started to kick into her small frame body. Her running pace slowly turns into walking, nonstop, again and again circling around. No place to go. Walking and walking, again and again, the pain is still in her chest, eyes wide open, yet no tears coming out anymore, as if the well of tears in her eyes is already dried up. Bruises started to appear and get painful made from continuously walking. Hunger starts to overtake her body, adding up to every emotion that makes it worse than before. Ignoring the feeling of hunger, still walking, unconsciously she slowly reached their tribe's land. As she reached the land, once again, her eyes were wider than before, the last drop of tears started to flow, and her eyes turns red, redder than apples, in severe agony hit her as if she feels like dying from it. Shouting of pain yet no more sound coming out. She was broken, physically and mentally. The land she knows is now a land of no one, nobody can be found, and trees and houses are trampled and destroyed. Traces of blood were everywhere, reminding her of her father. Severe sickness and puking out everything in her body that makes her weaker. Leaving everything, walking again, stamped, rose, and walked. Repeatedly, it lasted for days, a week, and not long enough she loses everything and her life. The young soul remembered everything, the memories, and the feelings. Carrying all of it, her soul started her second life. Her second life is as a young girl, an orphan and she grows as if the world is her enemy. This time, she is living in an orphanage and runs through donations from nobles. The female headmaster, an old lady, abused the funds and used them as if it was her money, leaving the children in hunger. There is only 5 orphans at that time, two boys and three girls, and she was the youngest among all. At the age of seven again, she and the other four orphans treated each other as family. No one treats them that way, only each other, even the headmaster doesn't care about them. The oldest orphan started to take care of everyone. Working day and night to provide for their younger brother and sister. Growing together, helping each other, and embracing the feelings they build as a family. Again, the headmaster ignored them repeatedly as if they are nothing while wasting money for herself. At the age of thirteen, the demon and human war broke up. Humanity is on the verge of losing, as the history of the era said, in a time of calamity a hero will rise. One day, the Knights of Order appear in the orphanage "We, The Knights of Order will take you to the castle." then the captain pointed his finger at the young girl, the girl who lives a second time. "If you want to save this place, you must follow us, hero." Everyone was shocked by what they heard. They try to stop the knights from taking the young girl. Yet, they're powerless as is. Inside the castle, in the presence of the King bestowed the order. The hero must do her duty to save the world from the demon, and the knights are given the order to train the hero to unleash the power. In just a week, the young girl, the hero, excessively performs well with swords and magic. Her power showed that no one can defeat her even the captain himself. On the other side, without her knowledge, her family the other orphan also join the knights to learn swords and magic so that they can be helpful for her. In their minds, no one should leave their family. A bond that should not wither. A month later, a new wave of war happened, humans and demons clash swords, throwing magic, and the hero charged in front of the battlefield in mind to protect the family she leave so that if the war ends, there is a place for her to go home. The hero slashes all the enemy clashes on her. Both sides shout, fighting, and taking the life of others. There is no winning, only losing. Time passes by like a leap of a year, it is way too long. No one knows how long it will last. It is almost like demons are an unending race. There is no ending to them. The human side loses too much manpower, almost half of the knights are already down, lying on the ground without life. In her mind, if it continues, humans will be lost. She decided to charge forward, finding the right path. She was looking around fighting demons to look for the demon king. Nonstop, she forwarded, again and again. She took too long before she reach her destination, the castle of demons. The place is a mirror of echoing silence. She entered the palace and start lurking and looking around. At the highest floor at the end of the hallway, a gigantic metal door appeared. The hero opens the door slowly as if she knows already what she can find inside. "HAHAHAHA FINALLY, YOU SHOWED UP MY DEAR HERO!" a voice as deep as the sea, echoes throughout the whole room. The door suddenly shuts, and the hero looks back, yet, no words you can hear from her. The demon king, with long black hair and a massive figure of body. He lifted his hand and *snap*. *BOOM* In a snap of a finger the hero flies to the end of the room and hits the wall which creates a big impact. *cough* Blood came out of her mouth. She stands up yet she can feel the pain of that attack. "Is that it? I thought hero can entertain me hahaha, but it looks like you are not." "AARRGGH! Die!" the hero charges with full strength swinging her sword covered with fire magic. But, the demon king blocks it only with his one finger. The hero is shocked by the ways the demon king blocks her attack as if she was just an insect that didn't bring any threat.
