Walking over to Josh, Alisha's power faded away. she picked him up and cuddled him mumbling out to Josh
"I'm sorry buddy I'm not sure what's happing to me."
she then turns to face her parents looking at them as if to ask what is going on with her.
"'It's ok Lisha everything is going to be fine, your coming into your power as a Sumerian witch, this is kind of normal"
Her mother was no longer bowing and her father was walking over to his Luna.
"What do you mean kind of?"Lisha was confused.
Her mother pulls her shirt off her shoulder showing Alisha the small tattoo she had started from the top of her shoulder to just below the collarbone.
"When Sumerian witches gain their power at 16 a tattoo is burnt into the skin to show the amount of power they have, each family has their markings, can you see."
Alisha notices her mother's tattoo is the same vine pattern as her own.
"why does mine start from my neck go down my back and stop above my knee?"
Her mother takes a deep breath.
"just before you turn 16 the tattoo appears. on your 16th at the time you were born, the tattoo gets bigger, mine was only the size of my fingertip before I turned 16. After my birthday my tattoo grew to the size it is now"
The size of her mother's tattoo was that of a hand length.
"Mine happened 4 days before my birthday, it's very rare as it usually happened a day before"
Alsiah was in complete confusion.
"My birthday isn't for a week. How can this happen?"
Her mother sits down nodding for Alisha to do the same, her father leaves the room to enter the kitchen.
"The markings you hold Lisha I've only ever seen in paintings, the lady that wore that tattoo was very powerful and was always wanted by many beings. she had many powers one of them was future, she could see dreams and shimmers of what was to come, Other powers she had you already possessed like speed and strength. She could also use elements like wind fire water and electricity. She had the power to wipe out armies with the wave of her hand and also could bring any being to submission. She had some healing property too"
Alisha's eyes were so wide she was scared they would pop out of her head.
"The one thing she had that was very strong was that no one could cast spells on her they just never worked at all after her tattoo came in, so now that you have your tattoo I can no longer cast a spell on you to hide your power or scent. Do you understand Lisha"
Alisha couldn't believe what she was hearing she cuddled Josh more.
"Oh, lish" Josh put his little hands on Alisha's face rubbing his nose on her face trying to comfort her.
"Sister is ok buddy, bit much to take in, but sister is ok"
she rubs her nose on his face making him smile at her, Josh pushes off Alisha and puts his hands out to their mother.
Her father brings in a big plate of pancakes and fresh fruit for Lisha.
"Eat daughter and go change we still have training this morning and I think Shuan is looking forward to it, he doesn't get one-on-one time with anyone he's always in the group helping the newcomers."
"so I can still train with the pack?"
"Yes my princess you can but the same rules apply, ok?"
she nods her head and starts to eat like she hasn't eaten in days.
Getting to the training grounds with her father she was wearing a gray tracksuit with a black sports bra underneath.
Her headphones and uncle's phone were in her pocket. She looked around taking in the obstacle course with nets and balance beams, the track that was around the outside of the obstacle course, and the group of men stretching.
She walked behind her father with her hood up and her hands in her pockets trying to block out the stares she was getting.
"Lish!" She heard her name being called and lifted her head looking over to see Shuan waving his hand in the air.
Alisha's eyes went wide at the site of Shuan, he was topless showing off the 6-pack and V-shape with his track pants hanging dangerously low on his hips.
He runs to her stopping just in front of the Alpha nodding to him and continuing over to Alisha.
"Hey," He smiles at her rubbing the back of his neck.
"Hi Shuan, where is your top?"
Alisha was showing no emotion on her face as she looked over his shoulder peeping at the other men.
"Oh it got wet while I was watering the course" He spoke shyly as his face blashed.
''hmmm," Alisha wore an unimpressed look on her face.
"OK everyone seems to be here" Her father called out getting everyone's attention.
"This here is Alisha she will be here to run with everyone and work one-on-one with Shuan"
Low calls were heard and her father's face showed pure annoyance.
"Did I forget to mention she is my daughter"
The low calls stopped and everyone stood at attention.
"Now because you all don't like running you will all be running 2 times around the pack lands"
Upset sighs are heard making Alisha's face turn weird as if it wasn't a hard thing to do.
"Father?"
"Yes princess run your normal length then start your one-on-one with Shuan ok"
she nods putting her headphones in and stretching her legs and arms.
"Shuan"
Shuan steps forward.
"I hope you are ready son"
The Alpha grins at him making Shuan confused a little looking from him to Alisha.
"GO!"
Alisha takes off sprinting. As she neared the end of her first lap of the pack lands the men have only made it halfway through their first lap.
She overlaps them all on her second lap as they finish their first lap of the pack lands.
by the time the group finished their second lap, Alisha had already done her normal 4 laps of the pack lands making it back to her father and stretching out her arms and upper body waiting for her one-on-one with Shuan.
she watched as the men all made it back and went for water, she took her headphones off and tipped her head looking at the group of men.
After another couple minutes, Shuan had finished his water break and stood in front of her ready for their one-on-one.
"You will only be defending princess no attacking"
she nods to her father and waits for Shuan in the marked-out ring.
"Shuan don't hold back son"
Shuan had been attacking her head-on for a good hour but still couldn't get near her or touch her, she didn't even break a sweat defending. Another hour passed and Shuan was getting sloppy and tired while Alisha was getting bored.
"Last 2 minutes!" her father calls out to them.
Shuan goes all in for an attack again and Alisha dodges with ease stepping to the side. He goes again for another attack and again she moves effortlessly.
"Last minutes"
Her father calls out and Alisha still isn't sweating while Shuan is covered in sweat.
Shuan goes in for another attack and Alisha dodges it with ease again looking more bored than before.
"And time!" Alpha calls out and all the men look tired all covered in sweat.
Alisha walked over to her father.
"How'd you like that princess?" her father asks knowing she looked bored.
She shrugged her shoulders.
"I'm going down to the Dojo Father, I need to sweat"
Her father giggles and smiles at her tipping his head to Shuan.
She goes over to Shuan and bows to him.
"Thank you for today."
she goes to walk away and Shuan stops her.
"wait where are you going?do you want to hang out?"
She looks at him while tipping her head to the side.
"I'm going to train now. I will see you tomorrow"
She gives him a weak smile and heads in the direction of her house.
