Chapter 2“So much for an evening off,” Jamie grumbled.
He was sitting at the counter island in the kitchen, his laptop opening and loading up while Daniel fixed some coffee. Daniel grinned as he placed a steaming mug beside his lover’s elbow.
“You love it really.” He kissed Jamie’s head. “You get antsy when you’re not doing anything.”
“No, I don’t.”
“There, you see? You’re getting antsy.”
Jamie glared at him.
“Daniel…”
“Okay, fine.” Daniel squeezed his shoulder before retrieving his own mug. “Just log us into the police database.”
Jamie grunted. He then started to log in as the website came up.
“If Captain Llanos finds out we’ve done this, she’s going to go nuts. We’re not supposed to access this database when we’re not in the office.”
