20 THERE WAS A SHOUT. While we weren’t looking, a couple of the Talavi prisoners had made a run for one of the vehicles. The Omi farmers chased after them, but they had already reached the truck. The truck was moving before the door was even shut. They took off in the direction away from the oncoming convoy. Meanwhile the dust clouds thrown up by the approaching convoy had come closer, and the three aircraft roared over the valley at low altitude. “Come with me!” Olinu shouted.
