*Abbi* I study Liam, watching him as he's watching me. He walks over, reaching up to cradle my face. My first instinct is to move away, but I force myself to stand still. I need to see the reaction I have to him now. The reaction my body has to him. "I've missed you. I couldn't wait for you to get home." he says, cradling my face in his hands and then leaning forward to brush his lips against mine. I kiss him back for a split second and then subtly pull my face away. I sigh, missing the sparks that I've gotten used to with James. There are no sparks with Liam, and that kiss just serves as another reminder of all the things I'm missing right now.
