Abby: I had to push down the rising panic inside my chest. Nick would find me. Or I would escape. Deep breaths. Once I had calmed myself, however slightly, I turned my attention to the water. Smelled ok. Tasted ok. I was so thirsty I decided to take my captor at his word. The water was gone in a gulp and a half. The room was medium-ish in size and laid out like a living room. A bare-bone living room. There were no windows, no mirrors. I was sitting on a leather couch where they must have laid me when I was unconscious. Getting up, I walked around the room.
