“You’re stunning.” I whispered in Abby’s ear. I had crossed the penthouse living room to her side, greeting her with a kiss on the cheek. A faint blush crept across her cheeks.
“Thank you.” she whispered back.
The others in the room were casually grouped. Everyone was dressed finely for the gala.
“Ready to become my Luna?” I asked, still a whisper. Her piercing blue eyes met mine.
“Yes,” she breathed with a small smile on her face. Taking her hand in mine, we walked to the front of the room and stood in front of the marble fireplace.
