When the twin princes of the werewolf kingdom were growing up you learned from an Oracle that they would have the same mate. They were nervous at first but come to realise that they don't want it any other way, as the princes Rhysand and Rowan become the king's, they start to give up on finding their mate, when they finally find her.

Lacy White was kidnapped when she was 8 and was forced to be their assassin but when she finally get's away from them and is very jumpy around everyone, for she thinks the found her.
