Evoughny's POV

"Announcement: In regards of our intramurals, we the faculty, decided to organize a team building that will be held exclusively at San Fernando Villa. Everyone will be going by batch for a staycation of 3 days and 2 nights. So this will be going for 3 weeks as it is recquired by department. Furthermore, we will be posting your names by batch at the announcement corner. That's all, and you can go back now to your respective classes." The University President in his long litany of announcements over the microphone in front of the flag pole.

We were now currently heading to each of our first classes, and yeah... I'm with Louisse. We have the same major sub but different sections and it seems that he really is sticking to his saying yesterday. Sighs, don't know what to do.

"Milady, you know.... you're the first one who made my heart like this. It's like whenever I'm with you, it's beating fast." He said casually in my side whilst resting his arms around my shoulder. Wow, feelin' close eh?

I still stood straight, like my usual get up and yet he's taller than me that's why it's comfortable for him to act that way. I still don't understand and trust this guys, pfft.

"Silent eh? Milady? It's okay tho...I know I'm intimidating." He asked smirking and answered his own question by himself. Jerk.

We arrived at our first classes room and he's like my tail, always beside me wherever I go. I sat at the usual, beside the window and started to take down notes as the professor started his discussion. I can't act freely for I'm still bothered by his presence who's constantly watching me the whole time I'm doing it while leaning his face into his hands not bothering about the discussion.

Man, it's our major and he's just chillin'. Woah, then you're the man. Tsk. I started to get uneasy but of course, I still got pride on me and just acted like I'm not bothered by his gazes.

He's now acting like a child willing to learn for he's now sitting few inches beside me, closing the small distance around us and thankfully he's now looking at the notes I'm currently doing.

"Your handwriting looks lovely like you milady." He said nonchalantly gazing back and forth to my notes and me.

"Why are you ignoring me?" He hissed pouting at me. Shocks, he looks so handsome yet he doesn't suit it.

"What do you really want? Can't you see we're studying here?"I asked back and brushed him off, pushing his face back to his seat creating a safe distance around us.

"Okay, I'm sorry." He surrendered and now looking in front, sulking at me.

"I just wanted you to look at me for once, psh." He added in a whisper, I heard it tho. Tss, to tell you all frankly, I'm not that easy to get person though I wanted to try what's in a relationship could be yet I wanted to be with my type and he does have some of it but....I still can't. Forget it.

He never bothered me again and focused mostly on the discussion. Few minutes after, the bell rang signaling that it's already time for the lunch break. I stood up from my seat after putting back my things on my bag and went straight for the door, as it is earlier, Louisse kept tailing on me.

"Where you heading at milady, the cafeteria is on the other way?" He asked, raising his brows.

"I'm checking my batch for the team building this week." I simply replied to him while still walking straightly and calm.

"Oh is that so? I forgot I haven't checked mine, might as well check it with you." He shrugged, keeping up to my pace. Guess, he is really determined to dust off his hopes and break his heart.

Now, I'm scanning through my name on the lists over the announcement corner and oh well, I belonged to the first batch and unfortunately with the boys they called hearthrobs. Fate is at Louisse' side eh? The only good news here is that, Jet is with me. Thanks God I could breathe.

"Hey Jet! Did you already find yours? We're on the same boat." I called to Jet who's meters away from me.

"Oh really? That's great! Finally, we could bond more now." She exclaimed happily in her own gothic way as she looked again to the lists, confirming it.

"How is that, milady? Guess, you'll be stuck with me." Louisse said proudly on the other hand, as he rest his arms again around my shoulders which I brushed him an impassive look, showing that I don't really care.

I took his arms off around me and turned to look at him saying, "Please excuse me mister, I'm just going to take my lunch WITH my best friend. So if you wouldn't mind, I'll keep going. Jet let's go." I said politely with a small smile and turned around bringing Jet with me.

"Then, I guess I should see you around later." He called back as we're meters away from him.

"Girl, you really had a long explanation you owed me later." Jet demanded as she raised his brows, painting a knowing look at her face which I just nodded to her side.

Then, I'd be needing lots of air later so I could finally breathe from all of this sudden tossed of events.

— At the Cafeteria —

"Girl, it's clear. He does have something for you." Jet said whilst wiggling her brows at me. I don't know if she's teasing me or what about that look and good for her, she did pissed me off.

I explained everything about what's going on with me and Louisse since Mandy's Party up until what happened earlier today and her reaction was just like, 'Okay, I knew it. He's in love with you' what???

"Shut up, why would he fall for me? Man, I'm old fashioned with lots of formality and modesty. All in all, classic and old. Simply boring for his kind." I rolled my eyes at her stating a matter of factly.

"Besides, there's that time that he's been rude to me, how will you explain that?" I added, asking with full of curiosity.

"I don't know girl, but your beautiful in your own way. It's like I'm seeing a princess in her casual dress and I can't help but to get mesmerized by her casual beauty, maybe that's what Louisse had seen to you." She explained magically while raising her brows and crossing her arms after.

"Yeah, that's it. There's no certainty." I replied absentmindedly whilst diverting my attention to the outside and I could see Louisse hanging out with his bro in the bench outside the cafeteria.

"And it's up to you if you'll take the risk or nah, you bet." Jet said whilst eating her fries gazing me a 'you should decide look' and look to the outside where I'm gazing at. I hate it when she's trapping me with her indirect remarks and that she always knew she will win, when it's hard for me to believe everything she says.

He realized someone has been watching him for a while and that's when our gazes met. He smiled and wave simply at me on which I just rewarded him a light smile and focused my attention to Jet in front of me.

I don't know about his motive tho. There's something in him that's bothering me and I need to know first what's that all about. I need to take some precautionary measures.
