- Louisse's POV - "I love you, mom..." I dropped the flower unto her coffin as it slowly descended on the ground ready to be buried. Johnson tapped me on my shoulder signaling that we should go. The funeral ended 30 minutes ago, me and my friends are just the ones who were left here. I've been requesting minute by minute to those funeral staff who were about to bury her to stop for I just wanted to stay with her on her last day. Sighs. I walked over to my car and was about to sit in the driver's seat when Johnson stop me. "You're not yet okay, let me. You'll just bring yourself to danger. Your driving skill sucks." He said worriedly trying to light up the mood. So I walked and seated on the passenger's seat. "Bro, we'll be heading off now. But if you need something, we're just one call away." Kein said with warm sympathy as he opened his car door ready take off. "Bye, bro. Keep us updated." Jay added. "Bro, we'll keep going." "Condolence again." The rest echoed as they all went to their own cars. They sped off one by one we took off too as soon as we made sure that they all left safe. The car droves fast away from the cemetery and I still kept my eye on my mother's tomb from the car's window. Am I that worst? I mean, I'll admit that I did bad things too like making fun of my bro's, riding the motorcycle so fast on streets that sometimes got caught with cops, and being a daredevil sometimes like an unexpected suicide. Well, I'm not that reckless to myself. Especially, I don't want to leave mother alone. I want to take care of her like she did to me when I'm left alone in this chaotic world. I wanted to return her kindness but guess what? She left me abruptly. She's so good to everyone, kind, loving, caring every good words suited to her. She deserves to live a long life but guess bad grass lives longer, like me. But nonetheless, I can't accept it. Never. I felt alone again. "Here we are." Johnson said after we reach my house which is this huge orphanage mother took care of. "Johnson, I'm not in the mood to enter there. It'll just remind me of her which will deepen the loneliness of my heart." I said sternly without looking back at the massive building. "But instead accompany me to my favorite place." I added. Johnson sighed helplessly and speeds off to the streets heading to my favorite place in the city. The sun is setting down wherein city lights are sparkling one by one. My favorite scenery here on top of the cliff from the outskirt of the city. Breathtaking, it somehow lightened the burden inside my heart as we are sitting in the hood of my car mesmerized by the whole place. "I can't believe that the least day I wanted is now happening. And that is to see my mom being buried..." I loosened my collar and tie. "...well I guess, I'm back to my rightful place. Being alone." I chuckled helplessly accepting my fate. "Hey, you're forgetting something. Take your words back, who are we huh? Those brothers who accepted you, whom are always willing to be with you, who are we to you?" Johnson retorted annoyingly. "Before you say that, think generally. What about those people who truly loves you. You are our leader man. It hurts us seeing that strong man, who's ever resilient, independent and a risk taker becomes a rotten flower.... ... That's how life revolves; we need to brace ourselves for those unexpected circumstances ahead. You need to move and keep up with the sun because that's the essence of life. Mother Llana is always there in your heart, always be guiding you, and for sure she wouldn't want to see you being helpless like that." Johnson uttered every single word dramatically. What a great speech of him, he really talks too much. But I'm still thankful though cause somehow, I feel at ease, for now. I sighed as a reply while looking upward at the sky, the stars shimmered brightly as if they were in so much joy. I hope you are doing well now, Mom. "I-I.. I don't know what to say but, thanks..." I lowered my head and brushed my hair upward. "Eternal Brothers?" Johnson said offering his fist unto me, our brotherhood gestures. We bumped fist as I replied, "Eternal Brothers." He chuckled and I smirk. Thankfully, I had my brothers with me. We aren't brothers by blood but still we're much closer than normal brothers were. "By the way, our first day of classes will be next week. Is it okay to you? You can just ditch, it although for sure, it'll be more on boring introductions and you suck in classes. It's a win win situation." He joked around trying to lightened the mood. I love my brothers but I can't help myself hitting their heads like a whack a pack machine. "You know what? My knuckles missed you so much, might as well give him satisfaction eh?" I replied nonchalantly. "You know I love you bro." He said sarcastically begging. Scumbag. *Sighs* Here we are joking around under the moonlight yet I still can't hide the sadness longing for my mom. Everything will be okay, Louisse Hopefully... --------------------------------------------------------- - Evougny's POV - PRESENT It's been three weeks since I had a friend. How lucky of me that it still last for three weeks, very unusual. Still bothered by that blonde haired guy, curious about that Louisse guy and then confused about my new punk best friend who's obsessed with vampires. Maybe, she's one of them? Ridiculous. I'm here on my favorite place I found since the second day of school. It's my break so I'm casually reading a novel whilst sitting under the shade of the tree, far from the noise and people. I always loved nature, it's fresh air ahh a very refreshing place. I looked upwards to see the beautifully painted sky but as I raised my head, gorgeous ocean blue eyes met my emerald ones. "What are you doing?" He said sternly, the usual, annoyed by my presence. He is hanging on the tree upside down like a silent bat. Feelin' vampire eh? "Reading a book, appreciating nature, and relieving stress until you came into my view. Easily destroying my mood, back to square one." I replied straightforwardly. "Do you want me to silence that soft lips of yours? Oh, I badly wanted to ripped that one. Get out of my place. You're destructing my cool." He said sarcastically and turned into his bad aura. "Sorry, but I'm the one whom first saw this place and you just entered to the scene just right now. So mister, it is more likely 'my place'. If you want to hang in there; for god knows how long, I won't mind, just exclude the talking." I said plainly and turned my head back to my book. "Tss... Annoying brat." He whispered, making sure that I heard it and swung back to the branch. Sitting coolly with his hoodies on preparing to take a nap. "What was that jerk?" I retorted sarcastically, not being affected by his indecent remark. "Shut up." The bell rang indicating for the next class. I closed my book and sat up preparing to get back to the building. "Aren't you going back?" I asked. "With you? No thanks." He said plainly without looking back at me. Rude. I walked straightly without turning back at him. I'm trying to be cool with him but he seems so distant, out of reach. Nonetheless, he's none of my business. -------------------------+----+--------------------------- Third Person's POV She walked straightly like she's still in the 80's era, turning her back at the boy from the branch of the tree. "Damn sophisticated." His piercing eyes are fixed on the back of the girl. He chuckled as he closed his eyes. Taking a five minutes nap before jumping off the branch and casually heading back to the school building.
