Later, Georgia learns of Cross' true identity and the entrance leading to the Pentagon Realm in the other world. It wasn't until then that she understood why Cross was putting such restrictions on her.

On her sixteenth birthday, Georgia was finally captured by Damian Volcann. He took her to the Pentagon Realm, where he thoroughly examined her. Damian aims to use her as the vessel of the child that will exterminate the werewolf's race and all of humanity, but a revelation from yesterday sever her bond with Cross not as a family but as two hearts who genuinely love one another.

The Beginning
"Have you talked to Mr. and Mrs. Staltzer, Ms. Dhalia?" Dhalia sighed and cast a sorrowful glance toward Georgia after setting her glasses down on the table. When Dhalia acts in that way, Georgia is well aware of it. "I'm sorry, Georgia, I tried to convince them but sadly Mr. Staltzer hasn't changed his mind, but don't worry because I'm confident that tomorrow or the next day someone will be coming to fetch you," Dhalia replied and smiled at Georgia to at least brighten her melancholy. Dhalia Foster is in charge of the Little Angel Orphanage. The orphanage where Georgia's parents left her. Along with the other children, Dhalia became their second parent. "Is that so? It's okay." Georgia tried to hide the tears that were slowly forming in every corner of her eyes with a smile. What more things may Georgia anticipate from Dhalia? She entered the orphanage seven years ago, yet she has remained there to this day while the other children who arrived nearly at the same time as her have families of their own. Families are supposedly everything., but Georgia was unable to experience the joy that comes from having a happy, complete family because she was only a baby when her parents abandoned her. She frequently questioned whether she was deserving of their affection. If a family is everything, why did her parents allow her to live this kind of life? Why did they allow her to be in need of love? Does she not have the right to be happy? Doesn't she have the same right as everyone else to have a happy, complete family? Georgia quickly wiped away her tears after they unexpectedly spilled out, but no matter how hard she tried, the tears just kept coming until her face was fully covered in copious weeping. Is fate truly so unfair for someone like her? "Don't cry; I'm always here for you; I won't abandon you, no matter what happens." Dhalia got up from her seat, walked towards Georgia, and gave her a tight embrace. Georgia stopped asking Dhalia as the days went by. She no longer wants to hold out hope because she will undoubtedly be hurt over and over again. She made the decision to disregard her wish. Besides, she finds no reason not to leave Dhalia since she is kind and compassionate. "Is what I heard true, Georgia?" Georgia gazed at the door as soon as she heard Aiden, who was catching his breath with both hands on his knees. It's Aiden. Georgia's best friend. They are of the same age and they share a lot of similarities. According to Dhalia, they were both discovered that day in front of the orphanage. "What are you talking about? I don't understand you," Georgia said, baffled. Aiden stood up, approached Georgia, and seized both of her arms. "Promise me that no matter what happens, we won't ever be apart. I will be sad if you leave me." Aiden pleaded. Georgia is still baffled by Aiden's motivation for saying those things. "Promise me, Georgia." Aiden's eyes show a clear mixture of anxiety and trepidation. "I promise, I'll never leave you," Georgia replied. She became worried after being baffled by Aiden's behavior. Did something occur that she wasn't aware of? "Miss Dhalia is summoning you to her office." Jean Callaway. The assistant to Dhalia. Georgia gazed at the door at the same time Aiden did. "Okay," Georgia replied immediately. She abruptly felt Aiden's hold on her both arms tighten. "Please, stay with me." Georgia heard Aiden plead. "It's okay. You don't have to worry. I'll be back, I promise." Georgia gently removed his hands from both of her arms. She then smiled at him to at least make Aiden feel better. Georgia walked straight to Dhalia's office after leaving her room. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before opening the door. She walked in and was greeted by Dhalia's charming smile. "Come here, Georgia. I'll introduce you to your new father, Mr. Cross Piescraft." Georgia's eyes grew wide and she gaped when she heard what Dhalia stated. Was what she heard accurate or was it simply a figment of her imagination? Georgia turned to face the man occupant on the sofa. He was dressed in a black tuxedo and a black top hat; merely by his posture and manner of attire, it was clear that he was well-off. The man got out of his seat and took off his hat. His long pitch black hair gently swayed to the beat when he bent his head. "How are you, Georgia? Finally, we meet again," the man said, lifting his face to Georgia's. Georgia was welcomed by the man with a gentle face who seemed like a gorgeous angel who had descended from heaven with a grin on his lips. "Again? What does he mean?" Georgia had no idea of ever seeing this man. Georgia gripped her chest. She was baffled as to why she responded in such a physical manner when she saw his face, especially after hearing his voice. She seemed to be drawn toward him by some force. "What are you doing here? If you're here to brag about your new family, you should leave instead of hurting each other," Aiden said with tears running down his face. He was unable to face Georgia. He would probably break down if she left, so he would prefer not to see her go. "I'm sorry if I hurt you, but I know deep in my heart that the day will come when you too will have your own family." Georgia fought back her tears until she left Aiden's room. Georgia makes the vow to never leave Aiden, but in the end her desire to start a family takes precedence over their friendship. She prayed that one day he would realize why she had to go through all of that, and if it happened, she hoped that his heart wouldn't have been consumed by bitterness and anger. "You need to hurry! Damian Volcann's men are on their way." A look of terror crossed Dhalia's face after she received a call from one of her men. She didn't believe Damian Volcann would be able to find their hiding place after seven years of hiding. Dhalia used to work as one of Damian Volcann's doctors. She decided to leave his employment after learning about the illegal laboratory where his covert transaction is carried out, but he forewarned her that his entire family would be murdered the moment she quits her job. She was forced to comply with every request made by Damian to protect the people who mattered to her, yet in the end, he still murdered her entire family. She believed she would rather die if she was no longer with the individuals who were important to her, but that was before he met Cross Piescraft. The enigmatic individual who assisted her in leaving that vicinity and later on, they became good friends. "I'm sorry, I–" Dhalia tilted her head. "You have nothing to apologize for because you did everything to protect Georgia. If it wasn't for all the help you provided, I might not have had the opportunity to see her again. Don't worry because all the sacrifices you made for her will never go to waste," Cross said, grabbing Dhalia by the shoulders. "Thank you very much for everything. The moment will come when I will be able to make up for all the goodness you have given me, especially Georgia," Cross thanked Dhalia and ran out of Dhalia's office. "Make sure that Cross and Georgia will depart safely, and if you have to kill, do it solely to assure their safety," Dhalia firmly ordered one of her men on the phone. Dhalia made a vow to herself to never use violence again, but the circumstances beg for it. She will give her life if that is what it takes to keep Georgia safe. "Run, Georgia, hurry!" The man in black was holding both of Aiden's arms as Aiden crouched on the floor. Aiden sustained bruises and scratches. "What are you doing there? Get the girl!" The man just entered the room on the second floor. His massive body and a noticeable scar on the right side of his brow give him a gruesome appearance. "Run, Georgia! Don't worry about me!" Aiden screamed again. Georgia's mind was still on the process of what was taking place in front of her at that moment. She forced herself to straighten up and run rapidly toward the door despite the fact that her knees were trembling from terror, but the man stopped her and grabbed her by the arm before she could leave. "Let her go!" Aiden screamed as he tried to break free but the man was very strong. Instead of being afraid and discouraged, he mustered all his strength. Aiden turned around and bit the man hard. The man let go of Aiden. Aiden seized the chance and dashed in Georgia's direction, but the man at the door grabbed a revolver from his side and shot Aiden before he could get near Georgia. "Aiden!" Georgia screamed as she watched Aiden stumble a few distances away from her. The floor was covered in red fluid. "I-I'm sorry." Aiden extended his trembling hands to Georgia. To Aiden, Georgia is everything. She is the cause of her continued existence. He will gladly accept it if his death is the only way to save her because, in the end, he required her. Even though he may never again see her face, he will keep the tender memories of their friendship with him till his next life. "All I want is for you to find your happiness," Aiden said bitterly. He attempted to open his eyes, but he was completely engulfed in eternal darkness. "Aiden! Wake up! Aiden!" Georgia screamed but Aiden didn't respond. Is wanting a family of her own just a huge mistake? She yearned for a happy, complete family, but what she got instead was a lot of pain and suffering. Georgia struggled, her tears streaming down her face, "Let go of me!"She won't let Aiden's sacrifices go in vain. Georgia mustered up all her strength. He bit the man on his hand and kicked his shaft viciously. The man let go of her hand and writhed in pain. She did not waste time. She bolted out of the room in a hurry. She was going to descend the stairs to the first floor when someone suddenly covered her mouth and drew her into a concealed chamber close to the right room where Aiden was. "Don't worry, I'm here." Cross moved his hand away from Georgia's mouth and hugged her tightly. "Search the entire area! Don't come back until you get that girl. Senior Volcann will undoubtedly kill us!" Georgia overheard the man giving his colleagues a command. Five of his colleagues searched each room while he and the other six went to survey the entire yard. After some time, several more gunshots were heard coming from adjoining rooms. She was left with no choice but to close her eyes and hear the cries for assistance from the other children. Georgia kept repeating to herself, "Please forgive me," as tears streamed down her face. "We've got to hurry before they find us." Cross grabbed Georgia by the hand as they made their way cautiously to the garden's hidden tunnel, which Dhalia had built several years ago in case Georgia's life was in danger. "Don't worry, Dhalia will never let your friends get hurt. Right now, nothing else matters but your safety." Cross could see the terror in Georgia's eyes. Cross didn't want to endanger Dhalia's life, especially the lives of the children. He wanted to assist them, but given his predicament, he could only pose a problem. Whatever happened in this situation, he was certain of one thing: Georgia would leave this place with him safely. "Please forgive me." It pained Georgia to leave the vicinity and the people he considered family, but she had to accept that this was the destiny that was inscribed in her palm. This might be the last time she will see them but she commits that no matter where life takes her, she will never forget the individuals who will remain permanently carved in her heart. "Welcome home, Lady Georgia." Right at the gate, Alice greeted Cross and Georgia. She manages the entire mansion as Cross's trustee. "Welcome to your new home." Cross held out his hands. Georgia's eyes almost popped up when she stepped out of the car and saw the mansion. She had never seen a mansion this huge before in her entire life. She had only ever seen them in magazines and on television. Alice took Georgia to her room and prepared the dress that she would wear to dinner. Georgia's expression was still utterly in awe until she entered the room Cross's had prepared for her. "Thank you," Georgia praised Alice profusely for her assistance. "You're welcome. If you need anything, don't hesitate to tell me. I would be glad to help you," Alice said and left the room. She went straight to Cross's but he wasn't there when she arrives. She considered going to the attic since he frequently stayed there. Cross was seated in a large, ornate chair that was covered in jewels. Various antique relics, including huge and old paintings from different traditions, are scattered across the entire space. "I received a message from Miss Dhalia. They are currently in the hospital and some of the children received gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, Damian Volcann took all the girls," Alice said. "According to her, Damian's men supposedly transported the females to Volcann's hidden laboratory. She has a feeling that Damian will utilize the girls in his experiments," Alice continued. Cross got out of his chair. "So they are starting to operate." Cross clenched his hands. They need to take extra care because Georgia's life is at even greater risk. Georgia was so exhausted that she passed out. Even though Cross wanted to join her for supper, he simply let her rest. Even though it pained his heart to see her in anguish, he knew that this was the only way to keep her safe—especially now that Damian Volcann was aware of her existence. Cross was confident that Damian would not relent until he had captured Georgia, but as long as he remained at her side, he would never permit Georgia to be used as a weapon in his sinister schemes. He would sacrifice himself a couple of hundred times if it meant keeping her away from him. Cross approached Georgia, sat down next to her, and then gently stroked her face. "We are one, not even death will be able to keep us apart." Cross's brilliant blue eyes changed to a blood-red hue. His hand moved slowly downward. A crimson mark, resembling the wolf-like carved on his chest, formed on Georgia's right side of the neck.
