Prudence’s dress had dried enough to wear, and Myam was pleased when she showed up for dinner looking like a proper lady again. Prudence, however, vowed that she would find ways to incorporate pants into her wardrobe when she could. She got a taste of freedom and did not want to give it up so soon. Dinner went by uneventfully.
