Loren P.O.V
"Please Loren I need to learn the truth," Laura pleaded.
"I'm sorry. I can't," I coughed.
"Why? Weren't you Daniel in your past life? If you are, you must be knowing what happened to him,” she raised her voice.
"I know, but I just can't tell you," I whispered.
"Why?"
"If I tell you, the whole world will be at stake and Alyssa will awaken faster than ever. If you don't want this to happen, my advice is never to seek the answer to Daniel death. It'll only stir up trouble."
"But, what stirred Alyssa’s anger to kill the lives of innocent people after she lost Daniel."
"Trust me. It was horrible, but the people that she killed wasn't innocent."
"What do you mean?"
"I think it's time for you to go. I can no longer give you the answer you sought."
"Please, I need to know the truth. You're the only person who knows everything. You are my last hope."
"I apologize," he said.
"No," she whispered underneath her breath with disappointment. She left the room in silence while I laid down in my room to rest my weak body. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. Faster than I could count to three.
I was cloaked in darkness but somehow my body seems to be glowing. I walked down the seamless path of darkness but found nothing. I didn’t even know the reason why I was walking, but all I knew was I needed to find something. My senses told me to do this. I shivered in this cold empty space. The glow on my body got stronger with each step. Then it hit me, I was to keep walking until this glow on my body found something. As I did, I found red ribbons hanging in the darkness.
I understand that I was in a dream but had no idea where this place is. It didn’t feel normal. It seemed like something or someone here was trying to tell me something. I touched the ribbons and ventured deeper into the darkness. Usually, I would be afraid of the dark, but something wanted to contact me by sending warning signs. I stopped and saw all the ribbons tied together in a knot. I looked up one last time and got frightened. I took an unsteady breath. My feet slightly moved a little. Then I turned to run, but all the ribbons flew in the dark. As it sprung into action, it started attacking me all at once. It grabbed and bound my feet, hands, and even my neck. I panic as fear grabbed hold of my neck cause me to struggled to breathe. As I was running out of breath, the ribbons turned to blood as it stained every part of my body. My hands shook violently at the sight of redness on my hands. Laura’s body laid on the ground with the tremendous amount of blood gushing out of her chest as she lay there cold and dead.
Whispers and voices spread throughout the room resonating through space. Words of hatred and vengeance spoke to me as grief struck me. There was a bunch of THEM. I pressed my hands tightly against my ears, but the voices won't stop. They were ordering me to do something for them. However, I knew why they chose me.
I was the only one capable to kill Alyssa.
