Chapter 16

722 Words
Ahri P.O.V What am I seeing? Why am I seeing this? What or who is this boy? Why is he covered in blood? I don’t understand. What is my sister doing in there? She laid on the cold hard ground bleeding from her chest as the boy stood there petrified. He held my sister carefully in his arms stroking her hair with his bloody hands. Few drops of tears rolled down his eyes as it soon got consumed by his agonizing scream as he rocked my sister back and forth in his arms. He seems distressed. He looked as though he was about to die. I don’t understand the blood stains on this hands and clothes. He took a knife and held it in his hand. Oh god, he was the killer. I didn’t understand any of this. He held the knife backward and stabbed it straight into his chest while blood gushed as he choked on his own blood. I watched the horrifying scene with terror. This premonition won’t happen unless the Oracle wants to show it to me Laura P.O.V I can't just sit here in the room doing nothing all day long. The palace is plain boring. I wanted to leave this place, but unfortunately, Cassandra Blake, the princess of Damberg, won't allow me to leave, so I am stuck here. My parents talked Cassandra out of killing me, but she wouldn't let me go. "We don't know if she is still a threat to the world. If she is, then we have no choice but to dispose of her. For now, we have to keep a close watch on her for she will be kept here in the palace, in the guest room. If you want to visit her, you’re more than welcome to." "I am so BORED!!!" I yelled. I was expecting the guards outside to say something, but instead, they did not reply at all. "HELLO!!!!," I tried. "Is anybody there?" I question. "Can I at least walk around the palace? I'm so bored." Still nothing, no replies, not anything, not even a single shuffling sound. The damn justice princess must've said something to them since they are ignoring me. I am infuriated now. They can't ignore me. Now I understand I am like a prisoner here, but they can't just ignore me. I walked up to the door and made a growl. I heard an uncomfortable shuffling sound amongst the guards who were guarding this door. I grinned. They must be scared of the girl who is going to destroy the Earth. Finally, something fun. I summoned my werewolf claws and made a high pitch screaming sound against the wooden door. I heard the guard on the left swallow a big chunk of water down his throat. My grin became bigger than before. And yeah we’re just getting started. I wanted to play around with the guards a little longer but suddenly the door opened and my parents walked in. I tried to muster an innocent smile and put my claws away. My father grinned along with me and put up a big thumb up. "I like the way you think, my daughter," he said. "Maybe I should do that to Adrian too. I bet he will feel very annoyed," he grinned. Then my mother smacks him on the head and looking at me angrily. "Now Laura, you shouldn't do that. Now, what will happen if they charged us? You know that we don't have that kind of money." "I know," I sighed. "Sorry," I choked out the word. "C'mon say that properly, young lady," my mom eyed at me. "Sorry," I gave in. "No worries," an unfamiliar boy came into the room. I looked back at the door to see who it was and I was surprised, "Loren?" I said. "Sorry, I am not Loren. My name is Erik. Loren is my older twin brother." "Oh yeah dad," I said. "What are you doing here?" "What? Am I not allowed to visit my own daughter." "C'mon there must be another reason why you came?" "Ok you caught me," he admits it. "I am here to see Adrian. I have something to talk to him about." "Who is Adrian?" "My father," Erik intercepted.
