I had to bombard people, exchange tiresome pleasantries and shake a few hands before finally spotting Peter. Everything didn't matter after that confrontation with Ethan, perhaps it hurt me more than it hurt him and my plan was to get done with Peter as fast as possible so Ethan and I could go back to being cool. That wasn't so harsh right? I mean it's the same thing I had been asking him to do except this time louder and... oh God, there was no excuse. It was rude.
"Hi, I've been looking all over for you" Peter said when we finally met.
"Here I am" I was trying as much to be cool outside while dying inside with guilt and anger, wishing to go back in time and handle Ethan better even with Peter staring down at me with his calm concerned eyes.
"You don't look fine. You need a hug?"
