Jake started asking the normal questions that were supposed to be ten minutes' worth, but it ended up being twenty before he was done. I made comments and jokes the entire time. It ticked my brother off, but I had to make sure that I kept these women smiling, especially my mother-in-law.
“Reynold, you may go back with your mates and their sister,” Jake said, bearing a red face. “If you need anything, just let us know. Our mother will be around to check on your mates and talk to them about joining the pack. It is really simple.”
“Careful,” I said with a smirk. “My mother tends to treat the newbies like her own children. You may find a ton of gifts on your doorstep. And you, Reynold, prepare for a lecture from her.”
“Yes, Alpha,” he nodded, giving us a smirk.
