Prologue

Once upon a time I fell in love with a boy who can't love me back. I don't know what's the reason, we've been together for a long time and when I confessed my feelings he just shrugged his shoulders.
Two weeks after, I heard from my classmates that he's family finally transferred to Alaska. Bringing the memories we had are too painful to remember. He's the only guy I love for the rest of my life till I met him. The person who change my world a lot bigger than I expected.
He's name is Evan Colton Eastwood. The varsity from the school where I was studying. Back from the winter season, we met at the corners of the street. He ask me if I was single which I was stunned for the first time.
No one like him ask me like that. He's been my boyfriend for 5 years until we graduated highschool. It was summer when we decided to go to California for vacation. We also invited both of our parents and they were excited to see the beach.
I was beyond happy from ear to ear. Until a hurricane wash it all away, my dreams, my boyfriend also my family. Our business get bankrupt, both of my parents broke up two weeks ago. Especially, I caught Colton cheating behind me. Mixed emotion are flowing through my veins.
California is one of the witnesses how I cherished and love my life. How I thank god for giving this kind of gift. How I loved Evan. How I was beyond happy. One day I just woke up I don't wanna be there again.
Eventually, it took years for me to understand how life works. You can't always get what you want. We are living in a world where everything moves very quickly.
Monday morning 25th of December, I got my self a shopping since it was my day off. I've written a note for my grandparents telling them I'll just go shopping and I'll come back before they got home.
I wear a black boots and a red oversized padded coat paired with a little gamblers hat colored in black.
Somehow I feel strange, I don't know whats bothering me, its just it feels so uncomfortable. I shrugged it all away, when I was about to cross the street I found my self lying in a cold concrete. Blood were flowing through my face. As time passed by I didn't recognize I was confined in a medical hospital near our village.
I slowly opened my eyes. The room was so quiet and quite small enough for me to sleep. I checked the couch where my grandma is sleeping. I saw my self in the reflection of the glass wall wearing a hospital gown.
When I was about to seat properly the nurse come by to check me. The most unexpected moment of my life was when I saw the man who shattered my heart into pieces.
God, knows how I miss him. “Hey, you good?”
“Yeah I'm good”
Thank god I finally met him again. The man who's jerk enough to leave me, crying with tears begging for him to stay by my side. The man who was responsible for this ache breaky heart. The man who ain't show he's true colors.
