Madison didn’t remember passing out, but an intense pain woke her. She grabbed her stomach and groaned. Someone put an arm around her, and her eyes opened in fear. Luckily, it was Liam sitting next to her.
“You okay?” he asked.
Tears sprang to her eyes as she shook her head. “It hurts,” she replied. “What’s going on?”
“No idea,” Liam replied. He looked around the room.
Suddenly, Madison doubled over in pain. “Liam,” she said urgently. “Liam, the baby’s coming. I can feel it.”
“f**k,” Liam said under his breath. He looked around the room again, finding it to be just as empty as before. He had no clue how to deliver a baby or where to even begin. He hadn’t even been present for the births of his siblings. His mother hadn’t wanted him to be anywhere near the house to hear her scream
