CHAPTER 3

    Sam was worried about Jason. Hoping he was okay and still alive. She wanted to go after him, but she remembered what he had told her once," Sam, I want you to never stop looking for your brothers and sisters. Even if something happens to me in anyway, I need you to stay strong. You can do this." Just then, Sunny walks in," Hey little sister, What's wrong?" She looks up at him and smiles," Oh nothing, just was thinking about Jason and hoping he was okay. Um I was hoping maybe..." Sunny puts his hand on her shoulder," Look Sam, I know what your going to ask and...the answer is no. I'm sorry, but we need to find the others before they find them. We already lost our sister...I won't wait to lose the others. We need to go now. I found Storm. She's in Seattle." They got their stuff ready and just as they were getting ready to go out to the front, there was a loud beeping sound. Sunny says," s**t, they found us. They broke the spell ward. Come follow me, but stay close." Sam walks behind him hunched down. He goes toward the garage, but instead of jumping into his jeep, he opens a hiding door that was behind his tools station. There was a pathway that leads down. He tells her," I need you to make a fire ball so we can see in the dark. She does and she goes in with him behind her as he closes the door. Once inside he puts a spell on the door hoping they don't find it until they are gone. The tunnel went down about 5 feet. There were stairs and then a sidewalk going straight ahead. He tells her," We need to move faster little sister. It's about another mile ahead." She asked him," When did you make this?" Sunny kept looking back into the darkness to be sure no one was behind them," I started this when I bought this place. So about, two years ago. I needed to be prepare just in case they found me. The only thing that's bothering me is how they found this place. I mean...I haven't seen or heard from them in a long while." Sam stop walking and he bumps into her. He looks at her as she turns around," So what are you trying to say Sunny? Do you think this is my fault? That I some how lead them to you. I, I..." Sunny grabs her by her shoulder," Oh no little sister, I would never believe that. Um, but I need to know one thing." She doesn't say anything," How long have they been following you? When did it start?"    Sam started to think about when it started.     It was two years ago. She just turned eighteen and was already on the run. She went from towns, city's, mountains, anywhere she could to stay hiding. One day she was putting gas in her Honda when she seen Jason. He was walking by and he was looking at her. She notice him and he started to smile at her. She blushed and turned around toward the gas pump. He comes around her car and says," Hi there. I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm new to this area and I was hoping you could tell me where a good place to eat here?" Sam looks at him and smiles," Oh...hi. Um..I'm sorry, but I'm not from around here either. I just stop in to grab some gas and was going to head back out to the Highway." Jason laughs to himself," Ha, Ha, Ha...Just my luck. I was hoping maybe you wanted to have lunch with me, so I didn't have to eat alone and..I wanted to get to know you." Sam started to laugh herself.This was when Jason came into her life. After about two weeks being with him, is when they hunters found her and started to chase them. She had to tell him the truth because he wouldn't leave her. He said he wanted to protect her always.     Sunny and Sam were already in another jeep that he had hidden under some big bushes. They were already heading to Seattle. Sunny says," Wait...so you are telling me they started to hunt you as soon as he came into your life? Doesn't that seem a little bit odd to you?" Sam's body started to heat up because she was getting super mad at what he was trying to accuse Jason of. Sunny looks at her with his eyes wide as he turns the car over to the shoulder of the road. She jumps out and tries to calm down, but it wasn't working. Her hold body was on fire. Sunny comes around her and opens his hands out to her and says," WHAT IS HOT, NEEDS TO BE COOL, I CALL FORTH WATER TO FREE YOU, SO LET IT BE!!" Next thing water started to shoot out of his hands and started to pour on to her body and it diffuse the flames. Sunny asked," Sam, are you okay?" She was still mad, but now she was all soaked," Sunny....are you serious? How could you think Jason has anything to do with the hunters. He was always by my side, helping me run. Keeping me safe from them. How could you Sunny." She turns her body and started to walk the other way on the side of the road. Sunny runs behind her and gets in front of her," Look Sam, I'm just say. You don't really know him, do you? What has he told you about his life. Where he's from, why he was in that town you were at, where was he going, who his family is? Did he tell you anything?" Sam wouldn't look at him, but she started to think about it. He always asked about her life and what her story was, but he never really told her about his. Tears started to come down her cheeks as it started to sink in. She thought to herself,"  Did he play me? Does he work for the hunters? Was anything between us real? Did he not love me, like I loved him?" Sunny grabs his little sister and holds her as she cries.
