Nikki’s P.O.V “STOP! WHO ARE YOU!?” A husky voice came out of deep in the woods. “What are you doing here on our land?!” He demanded. s**t are they mutts, I sniffed the air but I couldn’t pick up the scent of any mutts. So, they had to be human and they could have Ash. “Do you have my horse!?” I shot back. I waited for a reply but nothing. “Please, He is all I have in this world that is dear to me. Please give him back to me and we will leave!” I pleaded with the mystery voice. After what felt like forever “Are you alone were-wolf?” I was stunned, how did he know I was a were-wolf? What is he going to do to me? What is he going to do to Ash?  “ARE YOU ALONE WERE-WOLF?” he demanded again; he was getting impatient. “YES!” I said “I left my home; I had no choice. Please I mean no harm.” After a few minutes the man jumped down from the tree in front of me, scaring me half to death. He was a very tall man, taller than Roman. He had the body of a Greek God. His hair was long and blue?? He was dressed in all black with some sort of mask around his nose and mouth. I could only see his eyes, his bright blue eyes. He tried to be intimidating but to me he was very awkward. Maybe it was because I’m a girl. He’s adorable. “My name is Hanzo, I’m not going to hurt you or your horse. Besides if you wanted to kill me, you would have done it by now. Have you been living out here all this time by yourself?” “Yes, since you know I’m a were-wolf the you know that I have been marked.” “Where is your mate, is he here or has he been... you know?” Hanzo seemed very awkward about asking, then I realised what he was asking me. “NO, no, no he’s not dead. I ran away from him, he marked me without my consent. I can’t go back there.” I explained he nodded. “I can take you back to my village, it’s not far from here. Nothing bad will happen to you as long as I’m around.” Hanzo assured me. Why is he doing this for me? He doesn’t even know me. “Why are you helping me?” “I don’t know but I was raised to never leave a lady to suffer, if I can help her.” He answered. “So, would you like to come to my village? I don’t want to force yu to do anything you don’t want to do.” He asked timidly. I had to suppress a giggle. “Yes, I would appreciate that. Oh, and I can earn my keep, I’m a horse trainer and I can look after them if they are sick or injured.” “That would be a great help thank you...?” “Nikki, Nikki O’Connell” I said. “Nice to meet you Nikki, I’m Hattori Hanzo.” “Hanzo, where is my horse?” “Oh, he is at the village, we found him tied to a tree so we brought him back and I waited to see if anyone would come find him. It was odd that someone was on or land, so we had to be cautious. I hope you can understand?” “Yes, I understand. You just scared me half to death.” I laughed Hanzo gave a small smile and then he noticed my shopping bag. “Um... It’s personal items.” I said “Before we go to my village, I’ll have to see what your carrying. Sorry but uh would you mind handing it over?” He asked.   “I don’t really have a choice, do I?” I said dryly. I handed over my bag to him. He took one look inside and quickly gave it back to me. He turned bright red. “Okay, you don’t have to worry about the men back at the village checking it. I’ll let them know that I have already know that I checked you already.” “Thank you, we should get going it’s getting dark out.” “Your right, it’s this way.” He said heading East. After about half an hour I realised that we were heading further and further away from the Newmoon Pack territory. Thank the Goddess. Roman won’t be able to find me. EVER......
