I don’t like keeping things from King Douglas. But the truth is, after everything that’s been going on today, I’m starting to feel as if I really don’t have a future with the Scottish Lycan king after all. It’s very disappointing, but I don’t feel all that safe here, not after I find that Gavin has apparently been attacked by King Douglas’s own family!
Therefore, I do not feel as if I owe any information to King Douglas or anyone else regarding Gavin. Particularly since the information would only cause distrust if it should become known what he is, and I have no witch DNA (that I know of). And yet some wolves might get the wrong end of the stick if it should be found out, and assume that I too have witches blood in me.
